I’ve wanted to try this hotel for a long time and booked over a year ago for a special occasion.
The staff are lovely and helpful. The bed was very comfy. Hotel in great location. That was where the good stuff ended.
The room smelled very musty/moldy. Had to have the balcony door open for extended periods of time and room smelled if left shut up.
The hot water ran out during my shower the first morning. The shelf in the shower was not secured properly and couldn’t be used to place shampoo etc on.
The hot tub had broken and was under repair, which we weren’t told until we tried to use it.
If you are coming by car, don’t. It’s a nightmare. I got abused by the courier driver while trying to drop off luggage and get car put into valet. My husband had to go around the block multiple times.
The room seemed to be missing some of the elements you would expect of a 5 star hotel.
On another note- we were on the 8th floor. The lift only goes to 7th. We are fit, so didn’t worry us.
Not many amenities for a 5 star. Not worth the price tag.
