Sydney Marrickville Station accommodation from AU$112

Firstly they have over charged me far more than the booking amount. We didn't steal or damage anything! I will be investigating it further! For an expensive hotel there were some "normal" items missing from the room in our opinion! There was no microwave or toaster! The hotel was in a difficult place to walk to in the "rocks"of Sydney.

Room looked dated. Staff not too friendly either

I don’t believe “no” is in the vocabulary of the staff. Whatever I needed, they had (plug adapter and a charger when mine died), and even things I didn’t know I needed, they provided (a bookmark and a cord holder). My room was upgraded to a partial Harbour view, and I spent many an hour in the window nook enjoying Vivid Sydney from the comfort of my room. From the front desk to house keeping, everyone was friendly and took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry about anything. Convenient location to landmarks; trains, ferries and buses two blocks away, but a very walkable city if you have the time. The only disappointment was the “signature” hot chocolate - I had read online about how decadent it is, but the one I got at the To Go bar was less than average.
