This hotel provided a useful stop off point. Cobourg was surprisingly nice. Breakfast here was included and good, with some of the best coffee I had in Canada for this type of hotel.

It was clean enough and beds were comfortable. Our room felt damp and the floors were also damp and it was almost as though the AC wasn’t working, just adding humidity to the room. The room also smelt like strong air fresheners trying to cover up old smells

The room is a typical room with all the things needed for an overnight stay. Staff was very nice and welcoming. The issue is (as I write this at 1am with a 7am wake up looming) that the common areas outside where some guests congregate are so close to the rooms that the noise is very loud. We have had to blast the AC fan to drown it out to no avail. Staff have done all they can to curb this and we don’t want to get involved in any confrontations although unfortunately as the night continues and the noise persists this may be an inevitable outcome for another guest with less patience than us. I think situating common areas at the corner of the hotel creates an echo chamber that reverberates through the parking area and into the rooms. We will not be back to this property and I wish I would’ve stayed home and just woken up extra early to drive out to Coburg for our morning event…I would’ve slept a lot better and $400 richer.

I booked a room with 2 beds. Only 1 bed in the room. I asked for a cot and nothing. I will not stay in a comfort inn or book through expedia ever again.

Unit I was in needs an upgrade. Room had a very bad smell almost musty and wet possibly from the carpet and couch. Toilet is very low. The bed was comfortable and provided the rest we needed.

The elevator happened to be out of commission but only had to climb one set of stairs, and honestly, that's not that much of an inconvenience. Also it is probably already fixed anyway. Great easy clean place to stay with the family.

Quick and courteous check-in - was able to accommodate my small dog with a drive up room. Although there was one outdoor picnic table and two chairs - it was used up by two guests that stayed for a long period so we were not able to use it to sit with our dog.

Good option if you drive.

This is a good hotel for 1 or 2 nights, just to sleep, there is no much to do in the hotel or the near areas. The great: staff. The lady who works in the breakfast room is super welcoming, sweet, attentive. The lady in the reception is very nice and welcoming too. Breakfast was pretty good. The not so great: this place requires you to drive! Its far from the downtown area, we didnt drive so we relied in Ydrive app (similar to Uber) note Uber does not work in Cobourg, so make sure if you do not drive, download this app before arriving. The taxis are pricey and it takes a long wait when you call one! If you drive: parking in this hotel is free and plentiful. My room was clean, but when i entered the area after reception, there was a terrible stench of urine. In general: room was comfortable, washroom was super clean, AC worked well. The best in the hotel is definitely the staff. Top notch!
