Parking is located offsite and a shuttle provides transportation from the parking lot to the property. In order to reach the offsite parking lot please follow the below instructions. Take the Trans Canada Highway heading west towards Field and Golden, BC. The turnoff to Emerald Lake Lodge is located 1 kilometer west of Field, BC. Follow the road for 8 kilometers until a sign that says 'Overnight Guest Parking.' Turn left into the parking lot. In the parking lot is a cabin. Use the telephone in the cabin to call the front desk. A shuttle will be sent to pick up guests.

I was disappointed with the room , it was outdated, dark and not worth the price I paid. Guest parking was too far from Hotel it should be moved up to the top of the parking lot this would reduce the need for the shuttle and more convenient for guests. The restaurant access was poor with Cilantro restaurant not open during the day and Burgess was extremely expensive. Provincial wines were being sold at 100% overhead. The scenery was magnificent and I was glad we went but not sure I would recommend it at this time.

Paying for the views!

The location is stunning and the restaurant was good, but our room was very dated! No fridge in the room to enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony, no safe to keep passports etc safe, metal keys to the room easy to lose, stained furniture cushions. I believe some rooms have already been renovated, but a few small changes could be made for those rooms awaiting a full renovation.

This is hotel w best view location, who's seeking calm environment and peaceful natural environment! Room w fire place loacated 10 feet away from most beautiful Emerald lake site area. Every staff were so nice and professional. Our family love it! We highly recommend for anyone!

Whist we arrived on a very , very , very busy time , the crowds lessened at the end of the day . We had a wonderful albeit expensive dinner in the dining room which we loved . Every staff member from the shuttle driver to front desk to servers were very happy and interesting to talk to. They are from all around the world as the tourists ! Our cottage was just perfect . Having wifi in the main lodge only wasn’t a big deal really . We hiked the 3 km trail and enjoyed the fresh morning air but it is 60% roots to navigate so be warned ! Coming off season would be an entirely different holiday … something to consider . Take lots of pics as the scenery is breath taking .

You stay here for the location: it’s ideal for enjoying the beautiful Emerald Lake and the campus is very charming. The main lodge is well maintained with space for guests to lounge. All of the rooms are in cabins (typically 4 rooms/ cabin) and there was minor smoke odor in the room from the wood-burning fireplace. Otherwise, the rooms are very basic- think mid-level Hampton Inn. Definitely make a reservation for dinner at the Burgess Dining Room. Excellent food and the best/only option after 7pm. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to friends/ relatives.

An amazing location . The transfer from the guest car park was unavoidable but in a hot van . Reception was chaotic. So a stressful arrival . The lake view room was “tired” but the view was exceptional which I suppose is why we wanted to stay here . Staff were helpful and we enjoyed the walk around the lake . We wanted to hire a canoe but it was way too busy and didn’t want to queue all that time . Emerald lake is stunning but don’t expect a luxury hotel

Our room had the perfect view of the lake. Quiet, beautiful settings. The rooms could use some make-over, but clean bathroom and comfortable bed. The grounds are beautiful. During the day there were more people here than I was expecting. Great hike around the lake. Nice place to just sit back and relax.
