The room was ok, dated and basic. The condensation on the windows is extreme. It lierally piurs sown to puddles on the window sill so don't leave anything like we had.

Upon entering our room there was an overpowering unpleasant smell. I returned to reception where the staff were very pleasant and helpful and was assigned another room which was better. It was a standard room at £126 not including breakfast. It was on the 9th floor and overlooked St James Park football ground. It was very compact with very little room between the bed and the wall. The noise from the events in the nearby Stack restaurants was very loud until midnight. Bed was very comfortable

It was a 2 night stay, lovely room, staff were lovely and friendly, laundry was clean. Only one lift was working, but we were only on second floor so just used the stairs. Food was lovely. Definately come back to this hotel.

Large room with good facilities. Good location. I had a room at the back of the hotel. The room looked out on what looks like a future development site. Not much to see but on the flip side very quiet at night.
