Absolutely lovely, rooms were comfortable and had lots of space. Reception was warm and friendly on arrival. Loved the decor in the bar area. Breakfast was great lots of choice and staff were great. Great location, everything was walkable close to town and the University. Parking was easy and opposite the hotel . Lots to do and see. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

lovely hotel conveniently located - fabulous market on sunday morning nearby on the quayside. Room is o-kay but quiet enough. The shower was unable to deliver anything less than scolding hot water so was unable to shower safely. The hotel was unable to repair but offered us a discount - breakfast was good and set us up for the day.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating here in both reception and the restaurant. The room was generously sized and comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel before our theatre trip which was excellent. Great views of the Millennium Bridge. Only negative comments - there was no conditioner in the bathroom. For somewhere which is offering free menstrual kits (bravo - this touch is amazing!) it would have been nice to have hair conditioner too. Also the check in process did seem to take quite a while and there was a big queue when we arrived around 4pm which took a while to get through. However it’s hard to balance quality service with speed hence why overall this still deserved 5 stars.

Arrived early after 4 hour journey. Advised room would not be ready until 3pm. Swapped evening meal for lunch as needed to be at utility arena for 5pm therefore evening meal no longer an option. Lunch cost an extra £40 as we had fries, bottled water and starters which had a supplement which we were not advised of. Lunch if you include we had already paid for 2 course evening meal as part of the booking turned out to be rather expensive. I also understand the room was ready before 3pm as staff member advised us newly refurbished floor we were staying on had only been completed the day before and no one else had used the room - we were the first. Guessing hotel has policy not to let you in earlier than time confirmed on booking. Staff super but disappointed overhaul with lunch and room availability.
