This property is rather outdated. The carpets and interior have not been updated and were in a dire state. When we stayed there recently, we were given a cell like room with no outlook which was terrible given the cost we had paid each night for our stay at this hotel. There is also no lift to go up to the 2nd floor and as senior citizens, it was difficult climbing up the stairs. The lobby and reception staff was the only saving grace for this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel and would give it a 2 star rating.

Good overall. The room was small with little natural light. TV was small probably could have had 2 Sets of bathroom accessories (shampoo, conditioner etc) Front reception not overly welcoming. Breakfast in the restaurant was the highlight of the stay.

The room was basic but fine. The big down for me was the noise. On a room that faced the street, the music from the restaurant and the screaming from the street until 2am was exhausting.

Large comfortable room with excellent Bathroom.Very good breakfast.No Restaurant open on Sunday night but very good restaurant just down the road

We were way down the back of the property, our bathroom fan was extremely noisy and came on everytime we switched on the light plus there was a continuous rumble from other rooms' air conditioners. Our room felt like a backpackers hostel. Definitely not worth $210 /night.

Stands up as a 3 star hotel. No frills. It took longer to find the correct shower temp than it took to actually take the shower. The bed was also rock hard, which is not great for me. Great location though. Room was clean and had everything I expected it to.

The first room had cobwebs that had been there for a long time. Rooms looked very tired, badly need a fresh coat of paint & new carpets. The Grand Hotel was not so ‘Grand’
