Great pools and location, but room quality and service were inconsistent.
The Good: The location is excellent for sightseeing, and the pools were a huge hit with the kids. After moving, our second villa was much better equipped (second TV, fan, and nicer decor) than the first.
The Bad: We started in a 3-bedroom villa with a heavy, infused smell of spices that was impossible to air out. After an inspection, we were moved to a much nicer villa, which made us realize the rooms are not all on par with each other.
The most disappointing part was the "compensation" for the move. We lost several hours of our holiday packing and unpacking our family to switch rooms. When we asked for a late check-out to make up for the lost time, we were only given an extra 30 minutes, which felt quite dismissive given the inconvenience.
The Verdict: If all villas were like the second one, this would be a 5-star stay. However, the lack of consistency in room quality and the stingy late check-out left us feeling a bit let down.
