The card reader did not work, the automatic number plate recognition for the car park work once in 5 I parked in the street after that, I asked for a refund, the speaker in the car park is not marked and very small, so you have to go inside to sort out, the room was a top room but on the 1st floor with no view had lower rated rooms before there with a great view, overall would never stay there again.

Staff were unhelpful when you could find them! Wait at reception was so long! We had faeces on our sheets when we moved into the room and the staff at reception dismissed it without an apology! The cleaners who changed the sheets though were disgusted at the situation!

The parking was good, though pricey. I found the staff not overly friendly. Check in and check out it was a if I was a bit of an interruption to the staff's socialising, which is always a bit of a disappointment. Room service dinner was delicious!

Our room was clean and tidy, but we were disappointed that we had no place to park, as it was something we looked for when booking. On arrival we were advised the car park was full and that was disappointing as we then had to walk quite a while carrying our bags and a dress for the plans we had, in the rain. A little disappointing but mostly fine I guess.

Pro: The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, looks modern. We didn’t book breakfast but the dining area looks lovely. Cons: Staff were polite but seemed they were too busy/disinterested. The shower pressure was pathetic, like a dribble, the hand basin had better pressure. No climate control in the rooms so it was quite hot overnight. Overall - it was adequate for the overnight stay we needed but it wasn’t worth the cost of the room and didn’t live up to the standard we’ve had from Rydges chain in the past.

When checking in was warmly welcomed and when Taylor checked us in was so kind, caring and compassionate, and kindly upgraded us to king room when discovered reason was for a funeral. All staff were so kind and helpful. Cannot fault the hotel at all was clean, bed and pillows so comfortable, will definitely go back when it is for a happier occasion. Will always be grateful to Taylor for the stay we had.

Very noisy. Asked for a different room as we could hear the conversation word for word.next door and a baby screaming and crying. Breakfast buffet was out of food and drink in many areas. No sausages, no bacon, no butter and no orange juice.

Rooms- in particular the bathroom- needs to be updated with modern design and functionality for the price. The lobby has been refreshed but rooms don’t match the lobby update. The buffet breakfast was average, the staff seemed run off their feet and struggled to maintain stock. Staff were all friendly and provided great service.
