Dear James,Thank you for taking time to provide us with your feedback. After reading this we have gone through all the CCTV to see what happened as it's really unusual that our night staff are away from the desk unless in an hotel emergency.For guest and hotel security our front doors lock after 10PM and require a guest room key to open. In case of a late check in there is an intercom near the doors, as well as you can always call the AH number.We can see that you arrived at 11.17PM and you are correct there was nobody at the desk at this time as the duty manager was doing a lock up of the hotel which takes 5-10 minutes. At 11:19PM CCTV is showing that you were able to enter the building as another guest went outside.At 11.22PM the Duty Manager arrived back at the hotel desk after doing his security lock up. And half a minute after you show up at the desk and are handed a room key.Our General Manager has also replied to the email that you sent us in regards to this matter.Though I do want to apologise as it seems that the AH number didn't divert to the phone the duty manager carries on them at all times when not at the desk.And we know that at times 5 minutes sometimes can feel like 30.Kind regards,Tobias BondegardHotel Operations Manager
