My daughter and I had a great time. The location is perfect, the beds were SUPER comfy and everything seemed to be great. The plus to give it an excellent would be a kitchen / cafe attached and parking.

The hotel was great, checkin was an issue, had two rooms booked and they one had one booking. After calling Wotif and they rang hotel they found the booking, issues was someone else had been booked in under our booking number. Great location, would stay again.

Quiet little street, you wouldn’t even realise you a block over from the main shopping mall. Perfect location if you want to stay in the heart of the CBD with tram stops only around the corner and plenty of food options as well. Staff were brilliant and allowed us to keep our luggage there until the evening after we checked out.

Fantastic super easy to get to (public transport). Staffed 24/7 by excellent, welcoming staff. Great lifts, room (Urban King) quite spacious. Nice table and 2 comfy chairs. Robes, slippers and nice amenities. Spacious shower. Bed super comfy. Coffee machine too! Easy to access after hours. What’s not to love. Everyone should give The Howey a go!

We loved the hotel. Its location was fun with so much to do so close. It’s the first time I’ve not had to catch a tram and walked everywhere instead. We will definitely stay again.

A great location

The Howey provides the best location to stay in the City. With access to shopping, great food and walking distance to many attractions. It is locatif within the free team zone. It is tucked in an arcade and is easy to find. The reason I only have 3 *** for cleanliness is because towels had a smell and often stained. Bedding was also stained and dust accumulation in corners of the room.

We stayed three nights for the Australian Open. Walk to the Open from the Howey. Rooms was quiet, dark and clean. The staff was amazing! We had lost bags on our stay and they did everything they could to help us. Wonderful little hotel. Would stay here again

Lovely accommodation. Room was very clean and bed so comfortable. Lighting in room could have been a bit brighter especially in the ensuite. It was so poor you were unable to apply makeup effectively. We may stay again one day.

Property was stylish and clean. The check in was easy and staff were lovely. The shower design basicially flooded half of the bathroom so I had to use the supplied 2 bath towels to mop it up after a shower and the body wash was empty . When I rang reception for more towels and body wash they acted a little like it was a weird request to ask for more towels. But they did bring me an extra towel and new body wash within 5mins . Would recommend

Great find for a funky hotel option in the heart of Melbourne CBD. Easy access to everything including restaurants, public transport and major retailers. Smart use of space in the rooms with sliding doors to partition bathroom, toilet and shower. This was relatively new, so was disappointed to find some lights not working. Will also need a deep clean as shower showed build up. As this was accessed from a laneway, encountered some dodgy people during NYE celebrations, otherwise it was nice for it to be out of the hustle and bustle. Staff were excellent - polite and helpful. Overnight parking options were the clincher at very reasonable rates. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.
