A great return to Lancemore Crossley St. staff were friendly and helpful- allowing a late check out post surgery which was much appreciated. Rooms are spacious and super quiet. Beds are like clouds which made for a restful sleep. The only minor negative and I mean minor, was the poor shower water pressure and the constant juggling of the hot and cold to get a consistent temperature. But don’t let this turn you off. It’s a great hotel and the prefect location to the ‘Paris’ end of Melbourne. Thanks for having us!

The air conditioning was so loud that I couldn’t sleep at all. Although the hotel advertises itself as 5-star, the actual condition of the room felt more like a 3-star motel. The overall cleanliness was disappointing, the amenities were completely outdated, and the bedding had an unpleasant smell — especially the pillows, which clearly carried the scent of the previous guest. It really felt like the linens hadn’t been changed properly. A very disappointing stay overall.

The staff were very courteous and efficient and the room was spotlessly clean. However, you could hear (loud) the tv on in a neighbouring room, the footsteps in the room above us and also conversations in the corridor of the hotel. We were on level one so you could hear everything outside too. I’m thankful that we were staying on a Monday night and not a weekend. Overall a lovely hotel, just a shame that there doesn’t appear to be any soundproofing.

A solid stay. Nice quiet spacious room, although it was a little beat up and could do with a bit of tlc. Still, this would not turn me off staying again. Great location and friendly staff.

In general, the staff is excellent and helpful. We have not used parking. The only negative side is the cleaning service - usually it's late, really late. Sometimes there is a notice that we had put the wrong card at the door (we had not).

The Lancemore was a lovely find in a great location. Our room was spacious and our bed extremely comfortable. The sparkling wine for our anniversary was a very nice touch - thank you!

We stayed in a junior suite and it was perfect for us — spacious, spotless, and really comfortable. The staff were so helpful and the location is super central, close to everything. The only thing I’d change next time is to book a room on a higher floor, as ours didn’t get much natural light. Overall, a great stay!

The aircon in room was very noisy. Got a change of room and had the same issue. Informed the receptionist and was told the hotel is in full capacity and non-committal. Had to switch off the aircon both nights, very uncomfortable sleeps. During checkout, the receptionist is more apologetic and offered wine for compensation due to 3rd party booking. Checked previous reviews, many had similar issues with noisy aircon!!
