Room was spacious, AC excellent, very quiet despite main road vicinity. Property location convenient, parking excellent. Some fixtures and fittings modest. Worst aspect was the non disclosure at booking that parking was a $20 per day extra.

Laundry room was great. Good washer and dryer. Easy to use. Staff were helpful. Turned air-conditioning off in our room, during our stay as found it very cold. No mattress protector on bed, just the under sheet that was not a fitted sheet. Just a sheet that slipped off as it was too small for the bed.

We were there for 8 nights. We ad some issues with the rooms allocated. We were given 3 rooms for the entire stay. Room 1 was on the 1st floor & overlooked a car park and had not much privacy. Room 2 was on the 2nd floor but not very clean and the bed was not 2 single beds which we had requested & were told would be provided. When they split the beds, housekeeping left the beds unmade. Then, we were given room 3 on the 5th floor and it was this room we stayed at for the rest of our stay for 6 nights. They split the beds in Room 3 to 2 single beds, AC was not working that well and maintenance fixed that and when we complained that the toilet seat had no buffers which made the seat uncomfortable, maintenance fitted a new toilet seat. So, in the end, we had a good stay albeit not a great start.

To say our stay was unpleasant is an understatement. Our bathroom smelt like urine, our shower had big black hairs in it like it hadn’t been cleaned, there was a speck of blood on the bathroom floor and blood smeared down the bathroom wall under the sink. We advised reception who said they’d sort it while we were out for tea. Upon return we were told it had been cleaned and air freshener used. We went back to our room to still find the hair in the shower, blood on the floor and no air freshener smell. We again advised reception who changed our room to a down graded room. Our room had a queen bed and a single and we got changed to a queen room with a fold out kids bed. We told reception we were not moving to that room and they said they’d change our room to another the following day. To which did not happen and we were not contacted to do so. Pathetic efforts on all involved.
