My room: air conditioner had a little sign above it instructing me to call maintenance if I wanted to change temperature. I turned it off. Shower: the shower head sprayed water all over the floor and door of ensuite (explains the water damage and smell in the carpet outside ensuite). Has obviously been doing this for some time. Kettle: broken. My queen bed was two singles pushed together. The furniture was all chipped and scratched. the paint work very scuffed and dirty. Very disappointing stay.

I liked the fact that it was handy to all modes of transport and also shopping. What I didn’t like was that all information relating to Breakfree Bell City wasn’t listed on their website. Information on websites is what people go by to decide whether that accommodation is suitable for them or not. People who have travelled a distance would find it disappointing to find out that it wasn’t to their liking by what it says on the website.

I had a budget single room. And while I was not expecting luxury, I do expect a hygienic environment - and this was definitely not there! Surfaces such as sink splashback, bathroom tiles, cupboard doors, drawer handles and walls were filthy. My room stank of cigarette smoke drifting in from corridor/other rooms and/or air vent. Air vent fan in shower ceiling was noisily spinning non-stop. Massive draught coming in from underneath the room door. The room window was filthy from both sides. Tea mug and remote control missing. Pillow was flat and useless. Aircon blew right onto the bed and was unable to change that setting. Overall a terrible experience.

With lower priced rooms, you do get what you pay for. Please read your booking conditions before you book. If you stay 3 days there is no cleaning included. Parking was an extra cost. Beware of parking on the left as you come in, there we're a few cars that looked abandoned? At a lower weekly price, students can, and do live their for up to 18 months. The breakfast deal was good for guests at half usual price, and a nice breakfast it was. Transport is close by.

Good value accommodation. Got a room upgrade which was a nice surprise. Room was uncomfortably hot but then again the weather conditions were extreme. The cafe downstairs was disappointing. The menu was too small and the quality was very average. It was disappointing that there was no free parking available.
