The hotel is located in an isolated area away from other large hotels, and there are no shops or restaurants nearby. The service is very poor, and the room and facilities are in poor condition. The housekeeping service is very poor, and on most days the room is not prepared for the next day until 4 or 5 p.m. The service staff lack knowledge of hygienic. I think the hotel needs high-level management. One of the hotel's lifts was out of order for several days (the hotel has only two lifts for guests), causing confusion and dissatisfaction among guests who had to wait several minutes for their turn to go up or down. It should also be noted that there are no staff assigned to the fitness centre, and sometimes you will find underage children with their parents playing on the equipment. My wife and I stayed at the hotel for eleven nights, and when I checked in, the reception staff refused to add my booking, which was made through my Expedia account, to my Marriott Bonvoy membership. They told me, ‘Next time, book your room through our website, as that is the only way to add your points to your membership.’

Got there to wait to be checked in due to what the member of staff called a 'system issue' after then watching him check in 3 more people whilst I waoted I wdnt back to the desk to be told sorry we will be with you shortly. Then a manager comes over and says theres been a problem with our room by housekeeping so we will offer you another room. Me my young son and wife then say oh ok can we look at the room firdt to which he says ok. Then the original colleague takes us up to the room where I suspicious already ask what the issue was, he says they over sold on the rooms and so ours was given away. Made us feel great and valued (not) I sarcastically thanked him for his honesty and asked why his manager could not find the decency to be honest and himself in the first place. Just got a token we are sorry. Not a great experience or start to our trip. Honesty is a good value to have.

Good central location close to the city. Excellent breakfast with plenty of variety available and staff hospitality was excellent. Room was very clean. Bed comfortable. Hair dryer, iron and ironing board provided. Fridge and well stocked tea/coffee and kettle provided. Only downside was the TV had no channels available to watch. Very quiet rooms seeing as it is in a busy main road.

Great family friendly hotel. Carpark is expensive £20 a day and the city tax is an extra unknown cost but that's not the hotels fault. Hotel cleaning wasn't great we stayed for 2 nights. After the first night, the beds were tidied and toilet roll was given but the undidnt broom or hoover the room which wasnt great as we had 2 young children who do make mess. Nonetheless the overall stay was good.

The bedding (matteress topper) was dirty - it was removed but not replaced. The matteress was sunken from on side. The request of cleaning was done properly. Nor was we given any replacement clean towels or toilet roll. With children they don’t collect nappies or rubbish regularly it was just not pleasant. We couldn’t even use the bath tub as the drain was locked

Great, for the most part

The room itself was amazing, no complaints about that. The only thing I wasn't so impressed with was when we checked in, we had added breakfast to our stay, so I paid for it at check in. Nothing else was said about breakfast at check in (what was available, timings ect). When we went for breakfast in the morning, at 10am, we were told that breakfast had finished at 9.30am. As I said, this information was not passed when we checked in and when I paid for the breakfast. The lady at the breakfast check in allowed us in anyway as "there should be some left, they're still cleaning down". So we ended up sitting in the restaurant area that didn't have a single clean table and most of the breakfast options had gone. Had we been given the timings at check in, we would have gone down in plenty of time.
