Room was spotless and very spacious. The room look like it’s been freshly decorated to a nice standard Big modern bathroom with a shower and a bath. Lovely location. The hotel overlook a common it’s just a short walk to train station and the Lovely little town with plenty of restaurants and cafe’s. Staff fantastic. A big shout out to the dining room staff for their organisation and how quickly they seat you. Breakfast was delicious. Fab hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

No hot water for tge dhower, the second time this has happened in the same hotel. Requested early breakfast went down at 0630hrs no one about in the 24 hour recrption. As for tge breakfast I wont go there.

Room had a bit of dated decor and clear to see was old however it did the job and had functioning bathroom facilities and clean. Staff were very kind and hardworking especially the waitresses at breakfast. Food at breakfast was very good, lots of options, full english, cereals, yogurts, toast, additional order menu etc. Had a great stay thank you!

Lovely hotel with an antique feel, however the facilities are clearly aging. Great restaurant and breakfast. WiFi craws and will log you off even after a short pause. Quaint surroundings and the view of Blackheath common is great. Small parking lot that can fill up. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Check in was fine and we went out straight after. When we got back to our room that night we noticed that the toilet door only opened a little way then it hit the toilet seat, The room was ok but mattress very lumpy. I requested a quiet room but this one was noisy and the back car park was right by our window. We both slept very badly, so much noise. Breakfast was good but the chef who came out to replenish the food was very rude to my husband and told him he had broken the top of an egg with the serving spatula . Very disappointing visit
