Staff were friendly upon check in and check out. The room was dated and in need of a refurb. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were all very hard with no choice or alternatives. No sockets next to the bed for charging devices.

Toilet did not work, restaurant food was poor and housekeeping were poor. The only good thing was Costa the barman who was amazing. Also worth noting food being taken to rooms was not covered during transportation.

AC was not working and the room was cold. I was moved to another room which also had a non-working AC and the staff seemed annoyed that I raised this. (Just realised that there are plenty of reviews raising this AC issue) The bathrooms are awful with old and rusty equipment. Not staying there again and I wouldn't recommend.

The room was very tired looking - rusty shower, broken bath tap, stained bath - it just felt very neglected! The room also required modernising - two plugs that were away from the bed, just two side lights to light the main room!
