Room was nice enough although I had a large suitcase and there wasn’t anything really to put it on. The lounge chair in the corner was in a position where you could not view the TV. The buffet breakfast was pretty base level- I miss my morning porridge! Maybe a Bircher muesli also.

Lovely stay. Even though you’re off the A40 you would never know. Well placed to drive or travel into central. The rooms are spacious and facilities are clean. Special shout-out to Niamh on reception who made our stay super special after telling her it was our 6 year anniversary!

Checked in to be told twin room wasn’t available upon check in only a double bed. They said for one of us to sleep on the floor and they would provide extra duvets. Absolutely terrible staff. Was told by the night manager I would get a refund still chasing as they don’t want to refund it. Expedia not dealing with the issue even though I booked through them
