Sleek, modern and ideally situated.

The trip was to attend the Formula E race at the ExCel, and so I chose this particular hotel because while I wanted just a place to rest my head after a long day, knowing I wasn’t going to be spending much time in the room, I also wanted to know that the time I did spend in the room, I would be comfortable. Unfortunately, I can’t say I was particularly comfortable in my room, although the rest of the hotel was as lovely as I remember from my previous visits. The hotel is in excellent condition, and offers a wide variety of facilities for mainly business orientated travellers. While I wouldn’t recommend the hotel as particularly family friendly, it is an excellent choice for those people who are attending any kind of convention at the ExCel, and indeed with its handy links to the O2 Arena and even Canary Wharf, it is ideally situated for those types of travellers.

So we arrvived early to check-in and joined the que but staff failed to keep to this and allowed 2 people to jump in before me. Room was warm and a lack of plug sockets also the TV had a crack in the center on the screen i reported this and not repaired and offered a desk fan to try and help with room temp but lack of sockets ment could not use. Breakfast was ok food below average with only choice of sauce being tomato. For the price you can get a better quantity of room for location

The small hotel parking is open to public for the same price, and hotel being next to the Excel means there is nooo parking space available during an event. The sign when entering the parking always says there is space, but it’s not true, when you get in, you will see there is no car park available and many cars already entered and found no space is available, and now they have to pay £5 to exit the car park.

Very pleasant stay - I have stayed here before so I knew that the Hotel was very clean and the rooms were a very good size and very clean. The only issue we had was that the room key didn't work when we first checked in but I understand this was a technical issue within the hotel which was rectified later that evening.
