Room hadn’t been cleaned!

My room hadn’t been cleaned. The bed wasn’t made, there were used coffee and tea cups, the bins were full and there were none of the usual shampoo and bath gel. Now if the property was at full capacity and there was an oversight then perhaps I could understand but the place was virtually empty. When I called and complained, instead of offering to move me to another room or offering an upgrade, they simply offered to come and clean the room. Now I travel a alot and I have never come across something like this before. Maybe you could expect it in a 3 Star property but not a 5 Star and certainly not the Sofitel. I’m an Accor Plus member too! Other than that, the property is very new and nice. Just need to work on the customer service I think.

Meets world class standards

Well mannered and friendly staff, wide range of bar drinks, spacious and well maintained hotel with great facilities and plenty of bottled water for guest ( that’s A plus) that comes handy for guest from overseas like me. Thank you Sofitel and team. Well done and keep up the standard.
