This was our first time staying at the Grand Palladium, and we had a wonderful experience. My husband and I stayed at Kantenah, while our adult kids stayed at Colonial. It worked out perfectly- they were close to all the activities and entertainment, and we were just steps from the beach, which I absolutely love. This is definitely a resort we would return to. We enjoyed the food, the shows, and the overall atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to offer even more entertainment geared toward teenagers and young adults. The White Party was a huge hit for my sons (and for us!), and more events like that would be fantastic. I truly recommend this resort for all ages-everyone will find something to enjoy. And special kudos to the entire staff. I have zero complaints. Everyone worked incredibly hard and treated us wonderfully, allowing us to relax and feel completely taken care of throughout our vacation.

Our experience at the Grand Palladium took a shocking turn during our visit to the spa—an area that should be the most carefully maintained part of any resort. When we approached the spa pool, something was immediately off. A viscous, slightly bubbly residue floated on the surface—impossible to mistake for anything other than what it was. We later learned a wedding party had just finished, and some very intoxicated groomsmen had been in the spa beforehand. Accidents happen; vomit. We informed the spa attendant right away, fully expecting the pool to be cleared, treated, and temporarily closed. Instead, nothing happened. No testing, no filtration pause, no sanitizing protocol. The pool stayed open as if everything were normal. Guests kept getting in, unaware of what they were stepping into, and I found myself warning people personally—something I never imagined doing on vacation. Coming from a tourism region myself, I know any resort can build impressive amenities and hire plenty of staff. What separates the good from the bad is how they handle moments like this. When the crown jewel of the spa—the hydrotherapy pool with the Roman faucets—isn’t even closed after a bodily fluid incident, it speaks volumes. It shows a willingness to overlook basic sanitation for convenience or optics. And once you see that, you can’t unsee it. This wasn’t just gross—it revealed resort’s true standards, and they fell far short of what any guest should accept

The resort was gorgeous! Food was great, rooms and service wonderful- so many options. David and Ceilo were so kind and helpful and Alejandro at the lobby was great. We wpuld absolutely be back - highly recommend.

Breakfast and lunch are our favorite meals at Grand Palladium, but the dinner dining options can be hit or miss. We tried a couple of the ala cartes, but the La Hacienda buffet had better options - especially the salad and side dish offerings. The desserts were always better in the buffet. Being from Arizona & New Mexico, we did appreciate the extensive Mexican cuisine options in the buffets. This was our 6th (or 7th - we lose count) visit to GP, and our 24th trip to the Riviera Maya. Our dining opinions are are almost identical across all the resorts.

I want to share our experience with you. This was a very bad experience at a beautiful resort. You need to address you customer service and concierge service 1. We checked in at white sands on Monday Nov 3rd. Room 5604. Our bags sat at the concierge for ever we finally went and got the no one was there. 2. The app did not work to make reservations, went to the front desk and they tried and it still said “guest not found”. We were told to go to the concierge to make reservations. We came with a group and we could not enjoy dinners with our friends. We had to eat buffet all week. We did get one reservation for the last night but not with any of our friends. 3. My husband fell at the white sands pool on your slippery steps. And cut his arm on the tile and has a huge bruise from his shoulder to forearm. Your life guards were great but your other staff were all worried about me filling out the form . We were contacted by concierge and I let them know we could not go to our one and only dinner reservation and would have to order room service, they didn’t even offer to comp the fee for that so again I went to the buffet alone and brought food back to my husband. 4. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told no and given this email address to send a message to. 5.the front desk and concierge were ne help. 6. The trolly drivers for TRS refused to pick us up, the other drivers said they are not supposed to do that. 7. There were area of wet paint at the secret pool that were not

The pool was clean and neat. But it was toooooo deep all over. The children's section was very nice which was where we spent our time. The breakfast could have had more variety and they didn't make the omelets very well. They needed more variety.

We had a great stay. The rooms are alright, though a bit old. Our room felt very humid and the pillows smelled a lot like humidity. Restaurants can get too noisy and messy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & will for sure come back, just maybe in Kantenah or White Sand.

We were in white sands room 5904. I cant say enough good things about our concierge David and Cielo in our building. They were so helpful and made it easy to make reservations and information about resort. We thoroughly enjoyed every part about this resort.
