The hotel is very clean and spacious. They advise you when booking the hotel to book swimming as it can be very busy. We contacted the hotel at the time of booking through Hotels.com to schedule our family swimming, only to be told by the leisure complex that it wasn’t booked. Needless to say we had some very unhappy children as we were unable to get a scheduled swim until 1pm on the day of our departure. This was very disappointing as we had specifically booked this hotel because of the swimming pool and were planning on using the pool everyday of our three day stay. Breakfast was very good and being gluten free I was glad to see a gluten free station with its own toaster etc. I was however disappointed to see that it was being used by guests toasting their “normal” bread. There was even ‘normal’ toast just abandoned on the gf chopping board. Whilst this may not bother some, if you react to cross contamination this can make you very poorly. Perhaps the signage needs to be looked at as the ones I could see were very small. All in all the staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean and rooms spacious. However because of the lack of swimming and GF not being taken seriously enough, I doubt we will be returning which is such a shame.

The room was incredibly spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. The Christmas decorations throughout the hotel really stole my heart, especially the beautiful Christmas trees. However, the breakfast could use some improvement — there was a limited selection of fruit, and there weren’t any yogurts available for kids. Despite that, I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was woefully cold toasting machine only cooked one side of the bread and this was at 0930hrs. The room had stained carpets and human hair on the toilet seat along with stained urine with what looked sprayed cleaning material left on the seat

4th time we have stated at Hinckley Leonardo. Can see it's declining. Drinks prices are very expensive and breakfast poor quality produce. The Christmas night was not good value at £50 pp. Im afraid its a very average hotel now.

Staff were doing there best but system was done causing chaos at check in. Had to wait that long ended up abandoning check in so could make dining reservations. Then to make it worse 445 fire alarm goes off at max volume for 5 seconds wakes us both up and scared the hell out of us in process Stopped hear a few times previously by far worst experience

Room was lovely. Food was pretty terrible at the evening event we attended - definitely 1/5. Breakfast Sunday morning was poorly laid out and staffed, I ended up cleaning a table for my party after borrowing a cloth from a member of staff otherwise we'd never have sat down. Cold plates in the hot food area, broken coffee machines with a very poor quality of coffee. Bucket and warning sign in the breakfast area to deal with the leaking roof meant this began to feel like an episode of Fawlty Towers. Friendly staff but feel they were badly out of their depth. Very disappointing from a conference hotel.
