Hotels with Bars in Mexico

Room was very good. The grounds were beautiful. Pools were very clean. Food was great - steak house worth the wait. I would definitely go back to this resort but not in March. Way too many college kids - very loud, drunk and rude.

We enjoyed our stay at Seadust, but some things felt falsely advertised. They claim to have 9 restaurants, but in reality there are only a few consistently available: the Italian restaurant, Japanese restaurant, steakhouse, and a place called Manhattan. There is also a Mexican restaurant open for lunch, but you have to get there right when it opens at 12:30 or you likely won’t get in. Another place called the Lighthouse looked delicious, but it is only available to Infinity Club members. None of the restaurants take reservations, so you have to arrive right when they open, and some opened as early as 5pm, meaning you had to leave the beach early to get ready and secure a table. The breakfast buffet was very good, but it was the only dining experience that felt consistently convenient. There was also a shortage of towels because many guests kept them to reserve chairs before the towel service opened at 8am. We noticed people putting towels on chairs as early as 6am, so we ended up doing the same in order to have a place to sit. During spring break in March, there was no bar open directly on the beach. There appeared to be a bar setup under a shaded area, but no bartender was there, which made getting drinks inconvenient. Overall, we were lucky to have the experience to go to Cancun and we definitely would come back, but we would 100% stay at a different resort and definitely an adults-only.

Camino Real is over rated. The room was probably renovated, the bathroom was tight to move around in, floor tile was cracked with pieces missing, counter backsplash had too much caulking all around it, bedroom floor was just cheap snap on flooring. I wouldn’t go back, food overpriced, not a happy customer, sheets didn’t even fit properly.
