The room was in good condition, but the staff are thieves. I left a box of my jewelry there and I am 100% certain I left it there. When I called to ask, they didn’t want to tell me on the phone if they found it or not and wanted me to email. When I emailed they kept throwing me through loop holes to get an answer. I know for a fact I left it there and where I left it. Since I called several times, Violeta from the front desk was horrible. She would raise her voice at me almost annoyed for me calling because I wanted my jewelry back.

The floor is always slippery. It's like ice skating there. When we were at the buffet, it's so dangerous for us to hold on the plates of food on that slippery floor. The lunch option is too limited. Only two restaurants open are really disappointing. At dinner time, nearly all restaurants are fully booked. Need to rush there, or wait before they open to get a table. It's nearly unacceptable. No pool open after 6pm is disappointing as well.

Great hotel. Very very clean. If this is the first time you are traveling to Cancun you will love this place. We were dissatisfied with entertainment staff. They need to work more on their entertainment staff. They speak in Spanish most of the time and half of the crown doesn’t engage because of language barrier. Singers were just okay. We have stayed at Xcaret and Grand moon couple of times but wanted to try something different this time. It’s boring after a day as there is nothing to do there. Kids were done swimming all day after the second day. There are 4 restaurants but food is just okay. Lots and lots of food but just doesn’t taste good.

The rooms were nice and clean, but the staff by far made trip a blast! Javier and Freddy were our favourite bar tenders, Amelia was the friendliest face to see every morning at breakfast, got our day started off right. The poolside activities were fun and engaging, Leo poolside kept the drinks and laughs flowing. The Riu parties were epic, lots of fun. The afternoon ones were the best. Will definitely be visiting again
