Nice view of the beach, but when sitting in the two chairs, the angled glass was quite frosted, so then there was no view. When we looked up from the beach, we saw maybe 50% were that way. Cleaning issue or salty air corrosion.

We chose this place for our first visit to Cancun for our 7 year anniversary. We arrived a bit early at 1 pm and were neglected by the staff who kept skipping over us because we didn’t speak Spanish. I finally got someone rude to help who said to come back at 3 pm for check in. We came back at 3 pm and were told a room wouldn’t be ready until 4:15 yet they gave rooms to people who came after us. AC wouldn’t turn off in room and was blowing moldy smelling air. I came home sick with a cold. I’m so disappointed it did enjoy the food and drinks and wait staff.

The potential is all there but they miss the mark in almost all the ways! If you’re able to reserve dinner at a nicer restaurant, that is th way to go and it’s amazing! Very difficult to reserve though. The rest of the food was mediocre at best. Rooms were dated, AC didn’t work, water temperature was freezing to scalding hot and varied. The rooms smelled. We were offered an upgrade and had it revoked upon arrival. Staff was not friendly or helpful with the exception of some wait staff. I’ve been before and had a great experience but this time felt very different and we won’t go back.

I loved the food, loved the staff. Entertainment was good. Rooms were outdated and staff gave me two rooms on opposite ends of the hotel so our family was split apart and we have little kids. I even called them as soon as I made a reservation and requested rooms to be next to each other. Concrete around the pool is eroded and impossible to walk on without shoes.

I travelled to this resort with my two children, ages 13 and 10. When we arrived after travelling all day, the check in desk was closed and were ignored for 20 minutes before we were redirected. We paid the resort fees, and the lady told us was to go out the doors and take a left. We were lost, it’s a big resort. A worker helped us on our 5 minute walk to the building. The first day while walking around, we did notice we were stared at a lot. We are covered as we are a Muslim family, so we understand we stick out. Its ok, maybe its not common for these places so we ignored it as much as we could. One of the days, we had brought back a drink, and it had spilled. We tried to call concierge to tell them so they can get someone to clean it. I didn’t want it to damage the ground. No one answered and the room doesn’t have paper towels we used a towel. The next morning, I received a letter saying that i need to call them. They were charging me $28USD/ towel to replace the towels. Harrassed me by calling the room over and over and said I needed to pay it asap. Housekeeping was told to stop coming to the room until I paid. We continued to be stared at so much we went to the pool twice and never went back after day 4. We stayed here for 10 days and after day 7, we stopped leaving the hotel room. We just left to eat and stayed in the room the rest of the time. Will never return to Cancun due to this horrible experience. Have never been so disregarded and treated like this before.
