VERY Bad Sian Ka'an Master Suite experience
The first night, the ocean was NOT visible; it was a view of a roof and a distant lagoon. We didn't have a spa/jacuzzi on balcony as we paid for. We were only there for 2 nights for a special anniversary celebration. I wanted my partner to experience the Sian Kaan Master suite to it's fullest. But it didn't work as a first impression. The HVAC had a really bad leak in our bedroom so we had towels all over the floor which saturated the beautiful rose petals I thew down that led to the bed. There was no jacuzzi on the balcony and it was a very small balcony. Lastly our tub did NOT drain so we showered with our feet/ankles remaining in the dirty water that would not drain away. Lastly, there was a male urinal in one bathroom that reeked of urine and I gagged every time I went to that restroom. So I had to resort to using the one in the living room at all times. :( Also, ALL the Si'an Kaan inclusive restraurants were booked and we didn't get the ANY of the ones that we wanted to experience until the last night, they booked us for Careyes, but we were no longer in the positive energy after the aweful first night stay. They finally exchanged our room and we were able to experience what we booked for only 5hrs of daylight. VERY sad.
