Overall, my wife and I enjoy own stay. Most of the staffs are excellent but there are couples that wasn't. For some reason its seem like they are short staffs because there is one day they didn't clean our room, and it were around 3:30 so we have to request to have our room clean. The pool area is a little small compare other resort that we had stay. We didn't enjoy the beach because its full of seaweeds. The foods are good but need more option. They do have shown at night but its kind disorganized.

Our butlers Sandra and Omar were amazing! All pool staff, bartenders, staff serving us were the best! The collective amenities were top notch! However the rooms felt moist, paint was peeling off the walls, the beds were super uncomfortable and hard, it had a mysk smell. I honestly believe there is mode as at nights i had allergic reaction. Ive stayed here a few years ago, they are not maintaining the room quality! Also the staff for check in were not friendly!

Staff and Resort its self were great. While missing some features that other resorts have, like a cigar shop / lounge, they make up for it with a variety of all good to great restaurants. The spa was absolutely relaxing and very enjoyable. The staff were my favorite part of the resort. Very friendly, funny, and connecting. Unfortunately the people in the resort it’s self made it very hard to enjoy and relax. A lot of ratchet and ghetto groups of people with zero care for others and no self control. My first day on our honeymoon my wife and I were flashed in the stairwell by a drunken woman struggling to fix her top. We upgraded to diamond to try and avoid the insanely sloppy and noisy people in the main pool. Mean while these same classless people were borderline screaming in every restaurant. We tried out each restaurant the resort had, and it was very hard to relax and eat with screaming conversations. I understand it’s party resort but these “adults” can’t handle their alcohol one bit. There’s a time and place for such things. If you are into the ratchet and noisy life and are very much outgoing then this place you would love. But If those people had any sort of class and social awareness then I think this resort would be a perfect mix of fun, luxury, and romantic. But unfortunately that’s not what we got and the only romantic fun we got were at the spa (which you have to pay extra) and then in our room. Our room was also very nice, large, and clean if I might add.

We had a great time at the Royalton CHIC Cancun! The resort is beautiful, lively, and perfectly located with amazing views-especially from the rooftop pool and bar! A huge shoutout to Omar, our Diamond Club butler, who truly made our stay special. He was incredibly helpful and attentive and made everything feel personal and stress free. Upgrading to the Diamond Club-the x lusive beach area was peaceful, well-maintained, and had great service. Worth the extra cost if you are looking for a more relaxed and premium beach experience. That said, the food quality was underwhelming. While there were plenty of restaurants, we often felt rushed during meals, and the dishes didn’t live up to expectations. Also, having to pay for shaded areas at the rooftop bar was q bit disappointing given the resorts upscale branding. Overall, we loved the atmosphere and service, and we’d return for the beach, the views, and especially for staff like Omar-just hoping for an upgrade in the dining experience next time

It was just okay service was horrible elevators to 30 minutes to come often times skipping floors All he had one or two elevators working everyday we're almost more cleaned daily which was good everyday there was an issue with restaurant reservations after talking with management we were eventually accommodated but that is very stressful when you're on vacation with 11 other people at an all-inclusive and have to be stressed out about dinner reservations everyday made it very difficult to get into the restaurant's. The front desk attendance there's so much I can say about them but don't have time to do so. All I can say is they were the worst I have ever encountered at any all-inclusive in any country that I have been to. It is definitely not worth $400 a night to stay at this hotel.

My daughter got married at the Royalton Chic Cancun on June 6, 2025. I could not have been more disappointed in this resort. It is in need of a lot of renovation. The ceiling on the 3rd floor near the area the wedding ceremony was held was leaking water and covered with a sheet with buckets and towels on the floor. We requested a couple extra pillows for our room and when they were delivered, one of them was wet with a yellow liquid, I don’t even want to know what it was. The restaurants were almost impossible to get a reservation in advance on the app. It only allows you to book up to 2 days in advance and usually then tells you nothing is available. We ate at Hunter Steakhouse and I had the apple pie for desert. I took a bite and found a long hair in it. The waiter asked why I didn’t finish my dessert and when I told him I found a hair in it, he just asked if I wanted a new piece, no apology at all. The buffet was terrible! We ate there once at dinner time and I didn’t see much I’d want to eat. I had some scallops grilled and they were slimy and undercooked. Our room smelled very musty/moldy. The drywall in the toilet area was crumbling. The pool was small and warm, not very refreshing when it’s almost 100 degrees. Bar service at the swim up bar and lobby bar was very slow. The beach was covered in sargassum that was layers deep and stunk terribly!! I would never return to this resort.

Not the best experience, I stayed here last year, it was wonderful, this time not at all. Food was terrible, drinks were watered down, horrible hosts, and they always wanted to sell you something. Don’t think I’ll be back here!
