Very nice place.

Great beach. Honestly one of the best I have seen. Food was very good and so were the drinks. However the food and beverages are not cheap. Place is pricey. Margarita on the beach was $14.

This will make you value this hotel: at the airport you will be approached by vacation club folks trying to entice you to watch those timesharish presentations. I hesitantly accepted it. However, I am glad I did. I had the opportunity to "experience" their busy, noisy, and crowded lobby area, where everyone had to wear those annoying wristbands, taste their subpar breakfast while listening to a friendly salesperson trying to sell me those expensive packages. This is was great, not only because we got free tickets to Isla Mujeres but also because I now have an idea how much better Intercontinental Presidente is compared to those vacation clubs hotels. This hotel was beautiful, calm, pleasant, with excellent services and personnel, excellent food (make sure you include breakfast for each person when you reserve a room), has a calm crystal clear blue water beach at the front, pool, and in a nice location. We did not need a taxi. Just take the bus to downtown or anywhere in cancún. Very safe. The cons are that the food is a bit expensive (but it is really good); the rooms have a bit of a damp, musty odor, likely due to its proximity to the beach. The tap water (and towels at the pool) have an odor (perhaps from sulfur-rich soil or groundwater, I am not sure). The hotel is great. I will strongly consider returning.

The beach is fabolous and the tranquility of the sea. The pools are nice and not crouded. The rooms of the horizontal building have almost no place to put the clothes you bring. The service at El Costeño restaurant was very slow.

The hotel is excellent. The beach is beautiful. The food and restaurants are really good and compare with restaurants outside not that expensive and very good quality.

Excellent beach. The lobby staff was also excellent. Unfortunatelly, the staff in the bar by the beach/pool was below avg along with the food quality very much below avg.
