Our reservation was a classic room, however, the room they gave us was for special needs. We told them that we want to change our room, it took them so much time to change our room and we had to stay the frist day in our the room that had bathroom and room amenities that are made for special needs. after we complained, several hours later, they changed our room, the shower in the new room did not work properly as well. we only stayed for 2 nights there and both our days was ruined because of this room situation. and our situation was not taken seriously nor any additional complemntary gesture was provided by the hotel as a compensation for all the incovenience that was caused. what happened was unnaceptbale and basically ruined our trip.

Everything overall was amazing. Property is in top shape, beach is gorgeous, staff is top notch and the food is delicious. This is my third time at Presidente Intercontinental and management should be proud of what they have accomplished, 50 years being the best.Thank you

Room was ready, staff at reception could have been faster, they move from one computer to another but I guess this was a software problem.I gave my business card to be given to general manager but instead they staple it to my papers which is wrong. I wanted to have a chat with him. Besides this, they’re very polite

Water from the shower was either scolding or too cold. Maintenance folks could not fix it. Surprise resort fees were added that were supposedly included in the Expedia total. When I cheched in, they asked for the usual credit card hold amount; however it was not a hold charge for a real charge for $700. When I checjed out, they charged me again for the incidentals instead of deducting thise from the original "hold charge". They said the "hold" charge would be refunded in about 10-12 days. In sumnary, this hotel is a total financual abuse.

Great stay at this hotel! We had Expedia status and were greeted at a separate check-out desk, given our room at 2p m (earlier than advertised) and offered late check-out at 2pm on the day of departure. Further we had waters, and some snacks. There are two pools and the beach is lovely. Breakfast was included in our rate and was nice enough selection. Staff all very firendly. Bed super comfy.

Beautiful location and setting with the pool and beach, connected with a great beach bar. Staff couldn’t do enough, all very helpful. 5 star hotels around the world are pretty special and unfortunately this one didn’t meet those expectations. Rooms and overall feel, felt very tired and dated. That said, the overall stay was good for what we needed, food and gym were of good standard.
