Flooded bathroom and toilet after shower

Location was ok. The room was ok. After and during shower, water will flow from ceiling in the bathroom and in the toilet. Take note, it’s not leak, it’s flowing down from the ceiling. The whole area outside the shower area including the toilet will be flooded. This happened 2 days before departure. We didn’t bother to inform them. Won’t be back for sure

The property was spotless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Ruben, our poolside waiter, was especially attentive and made sure all our needs were met. He went above and beyond to make my daughter feel special for her 18th birthday, showing her so much care and kindness.

The check-in process was smooth. I had booked a room with complimentary breakfast and a $50 USD room credit. This credit was clearly stated on Expedia at the time of booking, and I was also informed about it during check-in. However, during check-out, I was assisted by a gentleman named Adrian. When I asked if the $50 credit had been applied to my bill, he responded that it could not be used for room service. I was surprised, as this had not been mentioned previously. I explained that the credit was explicitly listed on Expedia and confirmed at check-in. He eventually agreed to apply it, but remarked that it would not be allowed next time. This was disappointing to hear, as it suggested a lack of consistency or professionalism on his part—especially since he did end up applying the credit. Clear communication and consistent policy enforcement would improve the guest experience.

Waiters are Le Cap are great. Pools are nice. Make sure you get the right room location because near the street is loud!

Our stay at the Presidente InterContinental Hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff was warm and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the beach was stunning. The location is peaceful and relaxing. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

i was looking forward to my first stay at this property and as soon as i checked in i was dissapointed on how the F/D staff . i had 2 reservations which were different - lagoon view doubles and another king / ocean view. as soon as they identified that they said we will make sure we will provide you somethign so you dont have to move later, so give us some time. I gave them time and finally the said, room ready , gave me a key and i went to my room to find out it was a double facing lagoon. and they didnt acknowledge they could not do anything to accomodate what they offered, i went back down to ask them and the guy who checked me in, did not want to tal k to me to explain so it was handled by another person. but she didnt help, saying i needed to check in for 2 nites and then move. So thank you for offering and not delivering. First impressions are always the most importandand this F/D team needs more retraining and empathy.
