I visited Riu Resort in Cancun, Mexico, and the experience was absolutely amazing. Everything was excellent — from the cleanliness and comfort to the organization and overall service. The food was delicious and very diverse, with many great options to choose from. I highly recommend this resort to anyone planning to visit Cancun. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, especially RIGO and MIRNA who work in the restaurants. They provided outstanding service, were very kind, and made us feel welcome every time. Thank you to them and to the entire hotel team for such a wonderful experience. I will definitely come back again!

We really liked this resort. But there were few things that could be better. I'm sparkling wine drinker, so your prosecco is warm not cold like it should be. It was little disappointing, because that is the drink, which need to be COLD. Also, maybe it's time for updating showers and rooms overall. There was MOLD in our shower. Property is awesome, and location. Staff was really nice too. Most likely we'll be back!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my solo stay at Hotel Riu Las Americas. Great food, many entertainment alternatives, and very walkable. The staff was great and they seemed to be cleaning 24/7. I will definitely choose to stay here again. The only downside is that the rooms are dated and the AC system was a bit musty. However, those few faults had no effect on me enjoying my stay. I HIGHLY recommend!!!

The food options were amazing. The pool has a great view with a great beach. We actually preferred the beach over the pool at times. The water was nice and warm. The staff is extremely friendly.

We noticed that the beds are separate, the bathrooms have minor problems, the water went out and the elevator broke down. We also felt like the entertainment did not meet our expectations, especially for New Year’s Eve. The food and servers were always aware and very kind!!

Ooh wish I had more goo things to say. Everything from broken toilette at arrival to clogged sink, to lack of coffee and beer in the mini bar, there were all kinds of issues at the property. The staff were all very friendly and helpful but I think the property is just really old And has not been updated recently.the food was like 6.5 out of 10. I think you should get more for the money- the place was quite expensive. On the day we checked out the water pressure system was also down and the coffeee machine that services the entire hotel was temporarily broken. The only bright spot was the friendly staff - but they are trying to compensate for a lot of systemic problems that is not within their control. This is the first and last experience at RIU hotels for sure. We had been referred by a friend but they must have stayed at a very different type of property. UGH !!
