The property was well kept, but showing its age. The air conditioning could barely keep up in the rooms. If not for a ceiling fan it would have been unbearable. There was no air in the powder room so doing makeup and hair was difficult. The beach was nasty - terrible seaweed which made the water look and smell bad. We never stepped on the beach. The pool was very nice with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The food was below average - even for a non-foodie. Service was good and the workers were polite. The shows were great - loved the Michael Jackson and Folklorico shows. ABBA tribute was not great. Overall a good time, but we will stick to Isla Mujeres from now on.

Love the vibe. Checkin and out were smooth, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The only critique is regarding the drinks. There was so much cheap liquor it negatively impacted the taste. Once I started telling the bartending to decrease the amount of alcohol, then the drinks were palatable. The steak house and Japanese restaurants were very good.
