Lovely resort with friendly staff
For the most part, we enjoyed our stay. A couple things that need attention are; (1) our room was directly above the restaurant, Almar and when we removed our suitcases from the closet they smelled like food. It was quite strong; and (2) the bars were unable to handle the number of quests. There was only 1 bartender on most of the time and if he decided to strike up a conversation with a guest then the wait was too long. On our final night, Monday, we wanted a drink at the bar at about 8pm. There were only about 4-5 guests at the bar and only Antonio was working and completely unable to service the guests. The slow bar service was our biggest complaint and my husband and I are not even big drinkers. We probably didn't have more than 4 drinks each all day.

In general we enjoyed our stay but a couple things to note for the 4 stars. There never seemed to be enough beach or pool chairs. If you didnt get up early ie 7am then you were out of luck to find a spot to lounge unless you dont mind sitting on the ground. There was always a bit of a wait at the bar or coffee shop since they really only had 1 person serving and for the bar you were competing with staff who were doing table/chair service for attention. While they provide night time entertainment its low key so if you are looking to party then this is not the resort. I wanted to relax so it was perfect for me. We had a couple issues with one of the rooms toilet, fridge and ac units when we arrived but most were resolved quickly. Its a nice hotel and the water was a beautiful blue. The a la carte restaurants were excellent. The buffet and snack bar were decent. The spa was nice too. It was a realxing week. If thats what you are looking for then its perfect!

We immensely enjoyed our stay at Oleo! The staff was so friendly and accommodating, patient and kind. The Spa was delightful!! We had a great massage in a relaxing environment. The whole trip was pressure free- the vibe being “enjoy yourself and leave the worry to us.” We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely vacation!!!
