Older property, kids bunk beds extremely comfy but the king bed was so hard and uncomfy. Property is too spread out ( way too much walking) kids area is inside and extremely cold water, water slides on one side of property, pools in middle. Most of the staff was good, staff that helped kids was amazing.

Just got back from our family trip to Crown Paradise with two young kids (2 and 6 years old). The vacation was overall positive but there were some things involving the resort that I wish I had known beforehand and maybe would have changed where we had stayed. The positives: - The staff at the resort were excellent. Jony at the poolside, Tony in the breakfast buffet, and all the people in the entertainment were amazing - The food was great especially the omelet station in the breakfast buffet, Mexican and Italian restaurant - The beach had very nice sand, little seaweed and was cleaned up regularly The Cons: - The biggest one for us was the room. Broken tiles, Very loud fan and AC system in the room. There was also something wrong with the AC system that caused both the kids to cough like crazy during the night. - French restaurant is adults only, Japanese is only at lunch - Kids Club planned activities are only 2pm craft, 3pm face paint - Baby Club is very limited supervised hours The reason we will not be returning is we ended up having to wake up at 4am to reserve chairs for the day. Chairs do not open up during the day, spent the first two days sitting on concrete which was extremely difficult with 2 children.

Upon walking into the property, it looked nice. Our room was average but the walls are very thin. There were a decent amount of restaurants but we would only recommend Western Boots and the Italian restaurant. The fish restaurant had limited food available by the time we sat down, they undercooked our food, we had to ask for bread, more drinks, etc. On the beach, there were not enough chairs for amount of visitors by a long shot and same goes for poolside. We were not traveling with kids so adults only pool was another highlight of the trip. Good resort for the price but we will not be back.

Entertainment was fun, the evening shows were great! Very family oriented resort. The food was ok if you don’t have picky eaters. I learned afterwards the difference between a 3 & 4 star resort for food. It was edible but not the best. (Breakfast was always great though!) It was impossible to get reservations at any restaurants, and if you didn’t get early to fisherman’s or the Italian restaurant you were waiting a long time for a table. For the 2 reservation restaurants you had to make reservations at 8am. I tried at 8:05 one morning and nothing was available. You can also only make reservations for the people in your room, so if you have a large group everyone will need to make reservations at the same time. None of the restaurants are very big. Finding a chair for the pool or the beach was the worse part. We had to get up at 4am to reserve a chair and even by then half of them were gone. Overall we enjoyed our trip. The kids had fun, the staff were great, the weather was phenomenal. Would recommend this for families as long as you are aware of the things I mentioned before you go so you aren’t disappointed when you get there you will have fun!

Our room smelled like sewer. I had to go to the front desk 3 times to get my room changed within the first hour of being there. They kept sending staff to spray air freshener or bleach spray to try to rid the smell. Loud construction next door. They have cockroachs in the hallways, one was inside one of the restaurants running across the table. My second room progressively smelled like old urine/sewer as the week went on. They again came with bleach spray and sprayed it into the air conditioner vents. They had security that wasn't good. On 3 different nights myself and the young ladies I was traveling with were stalked by drunk men. We were only able to eat the eggs, hamburger, pancakes, lasagna from the Italian restaurant. The rest of the food was not good. Not good choices for kids either. We ate French fries every day to get full. The kid area smelled awful like sewer. The room service didn't answer in the middle of the night. The phone in our room had a bad connection, it hung up all the time during calls to the front desk or to housekeeping. The beds are hard, the pillows are small and cheap. I went to the supervisor to make my complaints and he gave me paper to write a letter. I left the letter with him when we checked out. I still have not received a response from them. Only positives, nice pool, nice beach, friendly staff. I will not return to this place, neither will our group of 33 people. None of us would recommend going to this place. Pick another place!!!
