Stayed at the resort for a week, Overall was a good experience for what we wanted at the time Pros: -Fantastic location, right by the beach -Baby/Toddler Facilities-Great activities for our kids -A La Cartes: Tasty Food -Adult Only pool, fun once we dropped the kids off for an hour at the baby center. -Fun activities for the kids daily. -Budget Friendly Trip Cons: -Long lineups for Buffets, have to time going down when it's not busy -Food poisoning-Everyone in the family got sick vomiting and diarrhea for about a day and a half on the trip. noticing other families complaining about the same issue -Bad Reservation system for restaurants-It's online only first come first serve at 8:00am in the morning. you have to be on the system registering for the restaurant that day since 5 minutes after it opens all restaurants are booked. -French restaurant is adult only, at a resort selling itself with kids in mind seams silly that parents of young ones can't experience this restaurant.

The restaurant reservation system is awful. There's a limited time to make reservations 8am-2pm, but I was told that because of the number of guests making reservations you can't get the QR code to work. There's no other way to complete your reservation. Otherwise the hotel was beautiful and it was great being on the ocean side.

The rooms were very loud. We could clearly hear the people next to us, who were up screaming and yelling to all hours of the night. You can also hear the party in the lobby until midnight every night. Made things very difficult with small kids. The buffet is ok, but quite bland. Restaurant reservations are almost impossible to make, so you’re usually stuck with the buffet. The pools are freezing cold and not very comfortable to swim in. But they are kept clean. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Everything seemed reasonably clean and somewhat maintained. For the price, it was ok. But I’d spend more for something better next time.

The staff was very friendly and pleasant. The amenities for the kids were fun. The buffet was plentiful with a lot of options. One downside was it was difficult to get a reservation at any of the restaurants. The reservation needed to be completed daily at 8am which is awful! Who wants to get up that early everyday on vacation?? Our first 2 assigned rooms were not very clean or updated but the staff made sure to make it right by upgrading our room.

This place has a lot of great potential. It is a large resort with several pools and entertainment for both adults and children. Entertainment staff are very friendly and fun. We particularly enjoyed Fernanda. The rest of the staff is hit or miss. The buffet food is not very good but the restaurants had pretty good food (if you're lucky enough to get a reservation). I witnessed staff exchanging used gloves and washing hands with their gloves on while handling food. So, no surprise that my wife and I both ended up extremely sick with what felt like food poisoning the last day we stayed there. I'm giving them 3 stars because, if not for the food poisoning, we would have had a great time. If they invested and trained their staff on proper food handling, I think this could be a good resort.

Pool area was crowded. Swimming was nice. Seating was always full. Room was vary good. Felt safe. Staff was vary helpfull. The only concern had, was the stores. Highway robbery! $150 CAD ($2000 mx pescos) for 3 bags of chips, 2 drinks. Crown Paradise was an excellent place for the family.
