When you ask housekeeping or front desk for anything it takes 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours to get your service request filled. I had so many bad experiences I hate to relieve them. It makes me cry.

Lots of potential but too much cost cutting

The location and views of the property are great. There's a lot of potential but its very clear that cost cutting is rampant through out the property. Limits on bottles of water provided (we traveled with an infant who needed water for making formula which became difficult); buffet lines were long and poorly managed. Food ran out constantly and the front of house staff at the restaurants were also rude. The concierge provided little to no help when asked for transportation options etc. The servers, bar tenders and pool/beach servers were great. Overall a lot of potential.

Overall a great resort for the price. Restaurants were good! Especially the mexican. Resort currently is lacking shade at the pools not sure why as the structures are there for the canvases. Buffet is good for breakfast, lunch doesn’t have much options. Smaller resort which makes getting around easy. Night entertainment was decent. Over all happy with the trip for the price

We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is very family-friendly, and the atmosphere was great. The only thing I’d love to see is a bit more of a Latino touch—maybe playing some Latino music. Overall, a wonderful experience!

I have been coming to this property for 35 years. I like the location I like the beach. I was just here for Thanksgiving holiday I noticed that the management was different and the management did not put both our rooms close together. Also, we did not receive the perks that we were supposed to get for the VIP which was one of the reasons I enjoyed coming to this hotel. I like the staff here and it is clean, but the management doesn’t seem to care about the clients now and they are not giving you what you use to get , this month. I was excited because I I returned booked the honeymoon. Suite to enjoy it Jacuzzi on the oceanfront balcony, but I was told when I arrived that even though I booked my trip and paid for it six months ago, my suite was not available, I was extremely disappointed and upset. They put me facing the construction with no Jacuzzi with an extra bathroom and an extra TV and a kitchen which I have no use for the reason I booked the honeymoon. Suite was so that I could enjoy the Jacuzzi on the balcony and then they wasted an entire day of my vacation because they told me I had to move the next day and I waited for that to happen as I couldn’t plan to leave the hotel . I lost an entire day of my vacation and was extremely upset by this. I will not return to Paradise because they did nothing to try to make me feel better or happy or compensate me. They tried to tell me they were giving me a better room, which was not true .

Information for restaurant reservation is not given to you at check in was is terrible and makes the experience difficult. Some people are great with a drink and others aren’t. Beds are hard, rooms needs maintenance. Shower tub seemed to be falling apart, towel racks needed to be tightened. TV continuously kept shutting off. We called for help with no resolution. We told the front desk and no resolution. Found a huge cockroach in our room in day 4. Staff isn’t very friendly and gives attitudes. Found a few great waiters and stuck with them. Asked for more pillows and covers and received them. Food was good. Los gallos restaurant was very delicious.

We were not happy with this property. While checking in, the front desk was not friendly or welcoming and seemed bothered by questions. They only wanted to make sure you understood if you lost the room card, towel cards or towels, there was a $50 fee each if they needed to be replaced. When we got to our room, it smelled like an old musty basement and made all of our clothes smell. The bed was rock hard and so uncomfortable. It was very hard sleeping here. The safe was broken and didn’t work and we had to go to the front desk to ask to get a new one because it’s hard getting anyone on the phone. The bottle of champagne in the room was a nice touch but unfortunately there were no glasses to drink it. We asked for glasses several times but they were never brought up. They offer room service for an extra $5 each time you call but they don’t answer the phone when calling for room service. We got through once out of the 4 times that we called and then it took over an hour to get our food. The drinks were very watered down and getting service by the pool was almost nonexistent. The food at the buffet was pretty bad, the restaurants were a little better but you had to make reservations in order to dine. The best part were employees in the restaurants and the cleaning ladies. They were very welcoming, friendly and efficient. It was disappointing and I would not stay here again.
