I was there for a week with family. Hot movie theater rooms for the kid activities. Bedrooms were hot too. Once you would tell them then they would fix the issue. Elevators hot. Food was basic not much special. Potatoes Everytime I got them were undercooked except the french fries.

Nice Place to Stay

My second time staying in this Hotel. The first time I came with a friend, this time I'm came with my 12 yr old son. If you're traveling with children this is the perfect place to be. 2 pools outside, 1 inside, and an adult pool on the 1st or 2nd level. They have waterslides, a zipline, rock walk, and mini golf. There is also a small night club for the adults as well as a Vegas like show

Ultimately, I’d have to say this family trip was neither a failure nor success. Maybe my expectations were a tad too high. But if I am speaking truthfully, I expected MORE/BETTER from an all-inclusive resort!! In addition, if a complaint was spoken, management should had better executed to assist party. On the plus side; the options of different pools was definitely a plus for all. Scenery from the outside balcony to the beach or even the infinity pool was amazing. Family definitely enjoyed both the kids pool, pool and beach! Food/drinks was a definite a hit or miss on taste. That’s including the alcohol, as it seemed a little watered down. As far as the main restaurants that served breakfast/dinner, they were much better! Now only if the buffet style was similar in this regard. Unfortunately we missed out on a dinner due to not booking appointment in timely manner and it stating “adults only.” That restaurant was “El Gallo” it stated “only adults,” but we saw kids attend dinner after the fact so we were dissatisfied how it conflicted itself and how it confused us. Room service was on par with cleanliness and restock of mini fridge; however, it missed the towels multiple days! Towels should be replaced daily especially if you take towels from the room. Why would you wait to call “room service” it just didn’t make sense. As far as front line employees. BRAVO! To all the employees that helped us in our stay. My family and I do appreciate each of you! I hoped it showed via tip!

We just stayed at the Crown Paradise resort. Let me tell you. It was our second time and this time was worse than a few years ago. Beware, when you check in they do not go through all of your reservation paperwork correctly and will try and call you back after you have started your trip to pay more money. The manager at check in thinks he is so smooth, but he is unprofessional and horrible at his job. Bad customer service. The manager said he wanted to keep my passports and would shut off our bracket to open our room if I didn't give them more money. I asked to see the managers boss, and he said ok but never got his boss for me. They don’t really care anyways. The building is a shell of its old self. Run down, old, falling apart. The food is horrible. The buffet, restaurants or by the pool the food I wouldn’t even serve to my dog. The hotel should be ashamed of themselves but they don’t care. Spanish speaking guests get treated way better. If you are from the USA stay away from this place. You will be treated like a pest and get horrible service. There are way better other resorts in Cancun don’t waste your money at Crown.

Food was not good, hotel is very dated and small not a-lot of alcoholic options for the adults, all the liquor is bottom shelf stuff. Dining areas were humid and hot, rooms were humid and check in took almost an hour long. Everyone roughly stays in the same area so waiting for an elevator to be available always took a long time.

Arrived at hotel. Bell boy took our luggage right away. We waited about an hour in line to check in. This was the hardest part. We got our room next door to a new hotel being built. Construction was loud. Rooms were clean. Housekeeping great. Friendly staff. Lots to do for families. Overall great experience. Pools were always full. If you tip your server by the pool. He will never forget you. I would go back.

I would like them to have more food options instead of just specialty restaurants, perhaps including more buffet options for variety, as currently there is only one and limited snack choices.

A/C is not existent in common areas. Hallways, elevators, lobby, restaurants, everywhere was hot. If they have the AC running they keep the temperature really high. A/C in the room fid not keep the room cool either. The coolest it would get was 75F plus humidity it was terrible. Housekeeping left us without towels on multiple days. No one picks up the phone when you dial from room to concierge, front desk or house keeping. You have to go to the lobby and stand in line in the hot lobby to request towels or services. Ive been to cancun a dozen times and this is by far the worst resort Ive stayed at. We selected this one because of all the kid aquatic areas and wish we had payed close attention to the reviews as ythey mention the same troubles we had. The process of check-in was super slow and unfriendly Dinner reservations can only be made the day of and right at 8AM or you wont get one. They only turn the system on at that time and they seem to cut it off right away. They dont inform you this at check-in either. The mattresses and pillows are terrible. They are either old and dont offer support or poor quality. Every adult (6) in our family reunion woke up in pain from their matresses. The property overall needs a lot of areas that require some TLC or remodel.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Crown Paradise Club. All of the staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and very personable. Reyes, Joel and the kids club staff were a pleasure to meet and very helpful. Roberto who hosted the entertainment was especially a highlight! Will return again.

The property was in poor condition, th water got shut off 2 times while in our stay. The pool towels were stinky. The staff over all was nice. The food was not great.
