I loved the welcome presentation in the room upon entering from booking through expedia we recieved 2 desserts along with a bottle of champagne on ice and the bed nicely decorated everyday. However, their front desk is not welcoming. Food and service in the buffet was severely lacking. Not much to choose from. Would have eaten tacos everyday at this point but they werent even available. Ate only salad one of the evenings. Had breakfast twice at Caribe instead and service was outstanding and their breakfast was kept warm amd delicious. I also preferred the bar in lobby at Caribe. It was way more sophisticated to grab a drink than at Royal where it feels like you are grabbing a drink from a side truck at the corner of a bad club. Bartenders were all friendly. Best ones were at swim up and Caribe. Entertainment was okay. Foam party would have been a blast if they actuallly were organized ans included the guests. They just danced around looking at eachother. Pools are all beautiful and well kept. Best dinner is only at reserved restaurants. Overall its an okay stay if you going for a short vacation for beach and pools. But, would not be able to enjoy myself longer than 4 days.
