urban oasis
This place is a gem! I would much rather stay in this little jungle oasis in downtown Cancun than to be trapped out in the zone. A great place for a solo female traveler and they were very helpful when I needed to borrow a phone charger. I would definitely stay there again and hope to soon!

Great little hotel in the city
Hotel great value. Good location across the road from restaurants. Beds very comfortable. Loved the jungle like garden and pool. Fans in rooms were great.

Wish my stay was longer...
I needed a place to stay close to the ADO central bus station, and this hotel had excellent reviews as well. I wish I had more time to enjoy the pool! Hotel is very close to bus station but relatively quiet (I did have a streetside room, and there was a screaming kid in the pool...). A little pricey for what I got out of it, but if not sola, and if I had time to use the kitchenette, it could have been a really good deal! One comment about eco-friendly -- a place where we could refill our water bottles, instead of buying it in plastic bottles would be great (other hotels I stayed at are doing this). And a comment about breakfast -- I did NOT appreciate that besides the large print on the menu, my waitperson very pointedly showed to me that a tip was not included in the (included) breakfast. I was rather insulted, as I've been tipping generously throughout my stay in Mexico. One other note -- there are two broad avenues to cross between bus and hotel -- they are not pedestrian friendly, but I managed with not-large luggage.

The tress and plant life within the property made up for the serious need of updating. The room was old, bed was comfortable. Kitchen staff not very accommodating. They would not toast the bread I had with me! There is an amazing pizza pasta place near by, Col something. We stayed to be close to airport but plays deliver Carmen would have been a better choice.

Tried to put us in these downstairs rooms that were really dark and smelled very musty. Uh, for that much money, I need actual sunlight and no moldy smell. The woman at the front desk didn't seem very happy about having to move us.
