We were disappointed that we had two instances where we had money stolen, once from the pool area ($110.00 USD), and the other time out of our room ($100.00 USD). We had the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on the door but found our room had been cleaned anyways. The two thefts totaled $210.00 USD which won't break us but doesn't sit well, especially when the staff/management pretty much shrugged us off. I reported this 3 separate times and had ZERO response from Fiesta Americana Condesa's Security department (Karen) and one of the managers (Roberto Velasquez). On top of it all, Fiesta Americana Condesa did not honor our VIP status as they had Ocean Front Rooms available that was supposed to be a FREE UPGRADE feature, but instead, charged me $539.00. They were going to charge me $700.00 (USD) for the upgrade until I mentioned that it was supposed to be a FREE UPGRADE! As for the property itself, including the rooms, need to be refreshed/updated as it is showing its age. Lastly, the food, service and entertainment was great! Had a great time chatting with Andrew and Wendy in the entertainment department!! We spent more than we wanted to on this trip as the rates seemed very high (almost double from the last time we stayed here), but will go back but with lower expectations.

The room was kept spotless. From the very beginning, the staff was absolutely amazing when our luggage was collected to the pool staff. Thomas, Reyes, Entertainment staff Esteban, Ariel, Ileana, All the restaurant and bar staff were amazing. Every staffer I passed had a smile and a greeting. Everyone was more than willing to help with anything we needed. If I have another return trip it will be to Fiesta American. Thank you for everything.

Stay was amazing. The front desk staff really help me by giving me a room with a baloney free no charge. It was my birthday and the staff took time to make me feel at home. Resort was clean and th pool was amazing. Great food. Staff is A+. You must stay here when you visit Cancun.
