We had problems from the night we arrived. I had 2 rooms, 1 of which was a suite with a balcony and hot tub. When we arrived the hot tub wasn’t working, and the hotel was not able to fix it for the next day and a half. At that point, they switched us to a different suite but that hot tub didn’t work either, so we couldn’t use this amenity (for which I had paid a higher rate) for the first 3 days of our 6 day stay. Additionally, we found the restaurant selection somewhat spotty. The 2 formal restaurants had problems: one specializing in South American steak had such slow service that it took us 2 hours and 20 minutes to be served appetizers and main courses. At the other, which is Italian, one of the people in our family ordered a beef selection, which gave him intestinal distress for the next 18 hours. As for other parts of the property, there is a coffee spot which serves really terrific drinks, a great spa, and a lovely 2 level pool surrounded by a number of easy lunch options. The staff is attentive, helpful, and friendly. In fact, we had a contact for the suite named Maggy, who worked diligently to help us get all problems sorted out and got us 2 massages comped for the inconvenience. But to get a beach lounge chair in the shade, I had to get down to the beach before 6:30 in the morning on busy days in order to put our towels down to hold spots until after breakfast. To sum up, I’d suggest looking at other all- inclusives or be prepared for some ups and downs.

Staff was very courteous. Our suite was double booked so we did spend the first 4 nights in a lesser room but they upgraded our kids’ rooms and when we finally did get our suite, they upgraded that as well. The resort was fun and everyone was very accommodating.

Overall, we thought that this was be best all-inclusinve resort we've stayed at in Cancun out of about 5 in the last 10 years. The beach was outstanding: blue water, very little seaweed, easy to get a lounge chair/spot. The pools were nice---also easy to get a spot; we liked that you didn't have to have reservations for the restaurants, but we never really had to wait on a table. And we never had a bad a meal---all 3 of the dinner places were great, and the lunch options & buffet room were alway good. The rooms were nice, the bathroom may have lacked a little privacy; the nightly entertainment was mediocre----one night, there was nothing. But there was usually a few things that were entertaining & well done. We almost never go back to the same place, but said next year we would consider coming back & inviting our son, daughter, & son in law.

staff was AMAZING!! everything was so perfect, the spa is great, the lovely lady who shows you around was so kind to us and even helped us to the doctor when my daughter was feeling a bit sick. pools have amazing views. the lady who tired to sell us a membership to some club thing was a bit rude, but most of them are like that. food was not to our liking, but overall that was the only bad part everything else was great!!

The room was spotless and everything worked perfectly. The food was delicious and the restaurants did not require a reservation. The staff was courteous. The hotel was not overcrowded. Only would like the pool and beach to closer later….maybe 10pm.

The room was very clean and unexpectedly we had a butler which was not mentioned in the description while booking. His name is Chris and he went above and beyond to accommodate us! The hotel itself is very welcoming and staff is pleasant. The food is average but we didn't mind. We had a great time!

Customer service isn't at the top of the list of priorities at this property. It isn't the staff in particular but it's the training and technology that is the issue. Check-in took almost an hour because the registration system requires photocopies of IDs and printing of agreements. The fire alarm went off at 5am two mornings in a row with no explanation or apology sent out. Service at the restaurants is minimal.

The staff at this hotel were very helpful and truly tried their best to assist. The general manager, butler, and front desk staff were all great and very attentive. The food was okay overall, and the breakfast was good. You don’t have to make reservations for dinner, but there are extra charges for certain menu items. The Fiesta upgrade didn’t feel very special—other than having a butler, there weren’t many additional perks. The minibar was also very basic, with just a couple of sodas, sparkling water, and beer. There wasn’t really nightly entertainment or shows for kids—mostly singers at the lobby bar, though they were very good. The hotel may be fine for families with small children, but it’s not ideal for families with mid-age kids who need more activities in the evening. The kids club is small but clean. It closes for an hour from 1–2 PM, so we had to pick up the kids and drop them off again when it reopened until 5 PM. Activities were simple and mostly inside the club, but the staff were kind and the kids liked them. There is also a small kids’ pool area where children can play, although half of the section was blocked off. The beach was beautiful and relaxing. There was plenty of space around the pool area to lounge. The main pool and second pool were both nice, though the hot tub was small. The hotel itself is pretty with great views, and the hotel zone felt safe. Water activities were available about 5 minutes outside the hotel. However, the room had an issue with
