The hotel’s public areas were super hot. We were told AC not functioning. The buffet dinning area was also hot, the food could use some variety. The buffet staff was super friendly as was Daniel the public relations person.

Just returned from a stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun. Overall, it was an okay experience, but definitely not what I expected from a Hard Rock property. One major downside: it was super hot throughout the entire hotel. The hallways and lobbies had no noticeable air conditioning, which made walking around pretty uncomfortable. Thankfully, the room was ice cold, and that was honestly a huge relief and the best part of the stay. The food was just so-so. Not terrible, but definitely not great either. The steakhouse was fully booked every night with a 2-hour wait, so we never got a chance to eat there. The pizza was consistently burnt at the crust, which was disappointing. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and helpful. They definitely try to make you feel welcome, which I appreciated. In the end, it wasn’t a bad trip, but it wasn’t quite the high-end experience I was expecting from a Hard Rock resort. I’d call it a decent stay, but probably wouldn’t return.

The build needs a lots of maintenance!! But service was excellent! Food was excellent as well ! But I wish they had a little Mexican seafood ceviches,aguachiles,callo de acha , clams pescado zarandeado just to mention a few !

Great location and service. The rooms are a little bit outdated and worn. It gets loud if you stay in the third floor right above the lobby area since there is live music and a DJ every night until around 1 AM. The pool area and beach are amazing as well as the food. The only thing that I did not like is how pushy they can get to make you attend a presentation about becoming a member of their properties

Beautiful, relaxing, fun resort, we loved our stay and will definitely come back! The beach was clean, with lots of activities. The resort had a schedule full of plans every single hour of the day for the 5 days we were there. Food was delicious and the entertainment crew ( specially Angeles, and Juan) were super sweet and engaging! Can’t wait to come back!

Good property, know what you’re going for. It’s a bit smaller than other hard rocks, which isn’t a bad thing (for us). Food had some hidden gems which were great, but also a few let downs. Pools were lively and fun. The beach was one partial letdown, as it was very narrow, and filled with seaweed.

Hard Rock Hotel Cancun follows with what is expected from the brand. Property is filled with memorabilia and is themed accordingly. Rooms and service is great. Bars and restaurants are plentiful however not as nice a other hotels in the area. This is definitely a more upbeat vibe and caters to that party atmosphere.
