The property is ocean facing with no waves, making it easily swimable. The ocean water was warmer than the pools, we were always able to find couple of chairs to use. The pools are covered by large trees for the most part. Nice playground for the kids on the beach, great drinks and food. Some food options are looking questionable but visiting different countries will always involve something exotic, you can have it or not. Room was what we expected, comfy beds and clean. Oasis palm bracelet will only get you to one buffet restaurant and one al carte option which was pretty disappointing. The pictures with blue slides and mushroom shower are taken at the kids club not open just to anyone which was deceiving. There was no drinking water restocked in the mini fridge, why even bother with one if a hotel cannot provide a basic necessity. No night club on the resort was very disappointing. Two bars open at night with one ocean facing so you get to hear people having fun until at least 3am. Noisy AC and not sealed windows creating whisling noise. Staff was outstanding, always willing to help, approachable and friendly. Little resort, not terrible for the price but not something I would recommend to a friend. Most likely won't go back.

Overall, this is one of the cheapest resorts, and it has almost everything. If you set your expectation according to the price, this is good resort. The service was good. Cleanliness was okay. I had issue with WiFi connection, they did not help me 1st and second try, they asked me to call customer service, and the customer service told me to go to desh, no one were trying to help, as I insisted that this needs to be address, finally one person from the desh helped me and reconnect my wifi. This is should not be that difficult.

Took our family of 10 to this resort and was very disappointed. My wife and I have travelled to Cancun for 8 years staying at all inclusive resorts each time. This was by far the worst one we have stayed at. The staff was not friendly whatsoever, with the one exception being our waiter at the buffet one lunch. Hardly any smiles and often giving off the impression we were bothering them wanting to get a drink. The food was also the worst we have had. The worst part was that we figured the kids could survive on the french fries and chicken nuggets at the very least, but each lunch they were cold and not very good. We don't have high expectations with food at all inclusives. The OP had the least choices and the smallest buffet from all the resorts we have been to. We picked OP because it seemed to be kid friendly. This wasn't really the case though. The kids zone was okay, but nothing great. The worst part was we had our 6 year old get sick and throw up one night. Most of the throw up was caught in a waste basket, but some did get on the bed spread. They charged us $50 because they had to now clean it! Kids get sick and my expectation for a family resort is that a simple cleaning of linens wouldn't be an up charge. We have had a few times through the years where kids get sick, and I have never had another hotel/resort charge us. Don't stay here. Didn't ruin our trip but better choices out there.

Our room AC didn’t work well. We paid for all inclusive but I wish we didnt.The bar outside was packed the food is not all that. Everytime we went to the buffet everything was cold. The staff is really nice the kids enjoyed the piña coladas.

In reality , beach is full of sea weed, dirty , smelly, OS Palm is not 4 star , it is nearly 2 Star we were surprise how bad was it, we had to pay extra $1400 Canadian to get the better room, and next day we had flood in room, every time rains, room was flooded, once you are there , there is no help, no one responding fro Expedia, so we had to just pay and leave with it

I booked this hotel for my family while I stood in the hotel next door. I honestly felt so bad for booking this for them as it was their first resort experience. When they arrived, the bed sheets where dirty, the mini-fridge was not working and the water in the bathroom smelled like horrible as straight from the sewer. When we addressed these with the front desk, they said that "doesn't happen" in the resort implying my family dirtied the sheets themselves. The rooms are just old and on their last day my mother saw a roach crawling from under the bed. The restaurants, the cafe and the pools take all the credit because the food was actually delicious and clean. Their app was easy to use and did not have any problem booking diner as we traveled in their "low season"

I am very upset with the deal Expedia sold me. I feel like I went blind sighted. Got there expecting something and was slapped with a very poor experience. The room that we had didn’t even have a refrigerator, I had to go to guest services to get it changed. Yes they did change it, thankfully. The problem isn’t as much with the actual hotel as it is with Expedia. I was only able to click on whether I wanted to have the “all inclusive” or not but got there to find out that my “all inclusive” wasn’t as ALL inclusive as they said.
