Room was adequate…for a hotel that boasts a complete remodel in 2021 it should be much better. Nice views. Market it as having 3 pools…it is one pool with 3 areas. Not 3 separate pools. Fooled me once, but this property won’t fool me again. Overall disappointed for the price.

Pool was good. Limted places to eat, food was not as good. Asked for help at the front desk and was turned away by paulina stating that she had too much work to do, and to come back at a different time. Hot tub in our room was not clean, pieces of chipped paint was in the tub. Noisy from construction throughout the day, work to drilling and banging. This is not a restort I'll go back to.

The resort was very nice, the staff were helpful and eager to please. We had a relaxing 4-day weekend away from reality. We ate well and felt safe. Our two biggest concerns were that they do NOT serve any alcohol beverages before 11 a.m. Yes, you read that correctly. We could not get a clear answer as to why this was; resort rules. We are adults and didn't necessarily appreciate having our alcohol consumption policed. As a VIP member, we created our own mimosas for breakfast using the bottle of champagne that was in our room and we were not able to secure dinner reservations in any of the fine dining restaurants. As a VIP member, they gave us a reservation for 6:00 p.m. on the night we arrived and then called shortly before to let us know that that time was not available and we couldn't get another seating until 9:20 that evening. On the other nights, most of the other ones were closed. We were able to eat in the main dining area and I have to say the food there was probably the most tastiest I'd had ever had at an all-inclusive. It was not all bad -- just those 2 previously mentioned items. We had a great stay. Every resort is not for everyone, and this one was not for us.

We were 4 ladies so we asked for 2 rooms with double beds and connecting rooms but we got 1 with double beds and one with king they said they would change us the next day but we decided to just stay that way because we like the location. The first reason we have been coming back now 9 years for a week is the adults section for the calm and quiet but this year after 3 days there were families with kids diving and screaming that we along with other guests did not like even going in the jacuzzi. When we mentioned this to the personal working there they said they had allowed it since the big pool was closed but the lower pool was open and it was not full at all there were over at the adult area . A lot of the adults just left the area could not even swim across the pool with all the kids diving and jumping into the pool. Like I said the lower pool had just a few people there. I just think they should apply the rules of adults only area . All the other amenities were great as always just this major concern and the reason we come back.

The good. The bell captain greeted us and directed us to the front desk and was very polite and welcoming. We received a room upgrade due to our Expedia Gold status. The property was very clean and the pool area was kept well and staff was courteous and helpful and activities were fun. We only ate at the Cafe(buffet) which had excellent food. The bad: Upon arrival we learned no alcohol can be served to non-members before 11am. The specialty restaurants were unavailable to us. The first night we received a call 20 minutes before our 6pm dinner reservation made for us for being an Expedia Gold VIP, informing us that we could not be seated until 920pm which was way too late for dinner. Night number 2, only one of three restaurants was open. We tried to make a reservation at 10am with no reservations available and our last night only two of three restaurants were open with the only availibility being 920pm at Marco Polo. Our mini fridge started with 3 7oz bottles of beer and after drinking 2, they only gave one more. The pool area shutdown by 530pm and jacuzzi by 7pm. With limited entertainment. We were uncertain of activities as the resort app would not load on phones and when we found the screen in tbe elevator lobby on our own, the schedule was not accurate. The gym was ok but small. We will certainly be exploring other options for our next Cancun trip.
