The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious and clean, making it easy to get solid rest. The resort has five restaurants, but we mostly experienced a few: La Fuente Restaurant is a buffet spot next to the main pool, offering international cuisine. I stayed for 8 days, and 4 of those days the buffet featured Mexican food. Albatros Restaurant is beachfront and focuses on seafood. The fish tacos were outstanding! Some dishes like lobster or premium ceviche cost extra (around $100). Don Roberto’s Bar & Pizza served great pizzas definitely worth trying. Las Palmas Snack & Pool Bar was perfect for grabbing burgers, milkshakes, and other poolside snacks. One downside: I wish housekeeping had done a better job cleaning sand from the room, especially since the kids tracked in a lot after coming back from the beach. The sand would end up all over the floor and bathroom. That said, the staff overall were friendly and professional. The rooms had a charming Mexican casa feel one of the main reasons I chose Flamingo Resort. The location was also convenient. There’s a bus stop right in front of the resort where you can catch a ride for 12 pesos to Mercado 28 (a local market). Directly across the street, there's a pharmacy and a convenience store. A Circle K is just a 2-minute walk away, and a 7-Eleven is about 5 minutes away. The mall is also within a 7-minute walk.

Nothing to share just terrible for the price. Not enough bottled water to drink in room,bad WiFi connection.bathroom stinks like sewer also a 1,000 pesos per hour for late check out personal trying very hard to do their best but not enough employees this is a management problem. So they were in a really bad mood I almost witnessed a employee fight in the pizza restaurant between cook and waitress so check before you come here.

Lo único bueno de este hotel es donde está localizado y la playa … la comida horrible casi todos los días el mismo menú muy malo , los trabajadores casi todos con caras largas y muy pocos te saludan … tuvimos que esperar por el cuarto después que no los entregan la cortinas no cierran , nos dan otro y el aire acondicionado tirando agua también el baño huele horrible y el lavamanos el agua no baja … bueno no lo recomiendo …. Lo único bueno es la vista hacia la playa desde la piscina de atrás nada más … mejor quédense en otro hotel … ahh tampoco nos hablaron de transportación hacia el hotel les envié mensajes antes de llegar nunca contestaron y tampoco nos llevaron tuvimos que pagar taxi … bueno le doy 1estrella solo por la ubicación nada más … lo barato sale caro muy aprendido ….

This is my third time in Cancùn and I must say, it was an ok stay for me. This resort is not tailored for international visitors, it is more so a vacation spot for Mexican citizens. I am used to a welcome gift when I arrive- there wasn’t any. The restaurants only offer VERY LIMITED choice, mainly pork-and I do not eat pork. There was an instance where a worker absolutely refused to help me. I was standing in line to sign up for an event and she kept calling the people behind me; waving her hand no!!! Every time I walked up. I reported her, but no follow-up from the resort. There was entertainment one night, due to the hotel anniversary- THAT WAS GREAT but that’s it. Therefore, my review is just ok.

I didn’t like the service I received there. I had to ask numerous times for service. It felt like they didn’t see me. The drinks were watered down the only drink was good was the red wine. The room wasn’t mopped. I had to get toilet paper from my cousins room. The food was average. Just hamburger, chicken, French fries. No quesadillas or tacos. The timing for food was very odd. I would go back to Mexico but not there. I wasn’t too happy there for my birthday. Especially the service. They ignored me and cousin. Smh

Everything was great. The back of the hotel was beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like was the entrance the rooms still need a little bit of updating like painting the bathroom that was in my room was really foggy. There was no air ventilation other than that, everything was really good. The staff was amazing when it came to the food. The food was okay I expected more of a Mexican traditional food. There were no seafood options. I ordered a burger and I wanted jalapeños. The lady told me jalapeños were not available with hamburgers orders only for nachos 😏😏😔. Even though I was unhappy with my burger, she was an amazing waitress. Her named was Sara I gave her a compliment on a little star. She had her face and she told me how to do it even though it had nothing to do with the food order. All around the hotel was good. The only thing I didn’t like about it was ordering drinks at the bar the one in the lobby area The first time I went Sunday 7/20/2025 everything was good but the night after that07/21/2025 , the person that was in charge of the bartenders was a little bit rude, and told me that certain drinks wren’t cover by my bracelet He made me feel like I couldn’t pay for my own drink, which was stupid. Don’t remember his name but he was a total d. Any who the next morning before we left in the morning staff was amazing. 07/23 the manager in charge in the morning told us to come back and was glad we came to visit. I believe his name was Francisco..

Waiting line to eat very disorganized and disappointing. I’ve stayed in one of the pool rooms and paid more for it..outsiders were entering the “private” pool all the time and seating in people’s balcony as it was theirs making it very unsafe to leave personal belongs in it or even the balcony door open. When talking to the hotel staff they don’t care at all. Very few of them are friendly and polite. Kuddos to Jesus, Diego, Axel and Sophia.
