Property looks outdated with noticeable repairs around the property. Kids club was nice, water park is also nice but it is the only water activity for toddlers. Pools are a nice size. Beach access is easy to get to and has showers to rinse off. Bars are located all over the property. Food was less than average, it had no taste or flavor.

Expedia tricked me. This hotel used to be 4 star but probably about 10-15 years ago. This place is falling apart. They are selling some membership programs in an effort to fix it up but pretty sad shape. Close to the airport and La Isla shopping. Food didn’t make us sick but it didn’t make us happy either. There was one coffee shop that served terrible coffee and the service was so unbelievably SLOW. The kids area is in the front but less swimming and more slides- only open 11-5. The other pools are clear across the place. The pools are all connected so we had a whole day where some kid pooped in the pool and it was closed- all 3. I would save your money an opt for Crowne which is next door and much cheaper if you want more of the same 2 star quality. I think Expedia is counting old reviews because the resort is OLD. Broken fixtures, falling wall art, broken floor tiles, closed sections of the resort in disrepair. Skip. Swipe left. Don’t stay here.

The staff was incredible and welcoming, very clean nice family resort! The buffet was great good tasty food, the restaurants weren’t that great, long waiting times to get seat and long waiting times for the food, but the time food gets to you is cold. The time share people really make it hard to walk the lobby. Other than that was a great experience.

Vacation hotel for locals. The food was terrible. Not even the burgers and hot dogs were edible. The staff attitude was not the best, as they always seemed to be bothered by questions. Florencia restaurant was just ridiculous. 45 minutes to get a table, plates came 30 minutes apart and everything tasted awful. The pool area was always dirty with spilled cups. The hotel has a very strange design, so the view from the balcony is half a concrete wall. The only positive was the kids pool area with slides and Benji with the entertainment activities. We will come back to Cancún but we will definitely not come back to Seadust Hotel.

It was nice experience staying at this property. They have Expedia person at property to take of check in process for Expedia booking so it was easier for us to check in. The only issue we faced was vegetarian food for dinner, it has very few options available for vegetarian in dinner and restaurants also have very long wait time and limited options for vegetarian. We visited with 2 kids and they enjoyed pool and beaches. We got partial ocean view with sun rise from bed.

The front desk staff was great. Having Infinity sales group tracking people down was annoying. Not all restaurants were opened for dinner and many times there were tables available but still had an hour wait for dinner. Which appears to be a staffing issue? Food was good and given the quantity of serving had decent quality. Our room was recently remodeled; but the shower door and toilet seat were uneven. Remodel does look good.
