This place is really special. Staff was very attentive from the moment we arrived. Amenities and food are endless. Kids loved the Waterpark they spent hours enjoying. The towels at the pool are soft, fluffy and long. We had a 2BR/2BA Suite it was very spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the robes and slippers in the room. I was just a little upset that we had to check out 2 days early due to the storm on the eastern seaboard as our flights got canceled and re-booked, when we checked out we were told that we would be able to get refunded for those 2 days however when we got home and tried to get it we were denied. Only reason i have 4* and not 5.

The room was beautiful and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. The buffet is needs a huge makeover. Not enough selection, food is recycled too often. Meat is dry and overcooked. Same food everyday. The system they use to make reservations for the restaurants is poor. We tried all week to get into the Italian restaurant. We stood in line, we used the app, we tried a few mins before as instructed, but were never able to get a spot. Our biggest grievance was the food. We travel extensively and this was by far, the worst food in any resort.

Upon arrival, the staff was not very friendly. Check in went smoothly. We were told to speak with Patricia to make restaurant reservations. We explained that our group was only staying for one night, but she was very rude and unaccommodating, which left us feeling frustrated. We decided to go to the bar, where the experience immediately improved. The bartender, Cristano, completely changed the vibe—he was extremely friendly and made excellent drinks. Later, we went to the Merkadito restaurant, where the food was disappointing and served cold. One of the girls in our group grabbed a brownie for dessert and unfortunately found a hair in it. The manager, Rosalia, handled the situation very well. She was kind, apologized, and addressed the issue professionally. She also helped check us in and managed to get us reservations at another restaurant that had been marked as “fully booked,” which we appreciated. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was also disappointing. The food lacked quality, and the pizza tasted like it had been microwaved. Overall, the food throughout the hotel was very underwhelming. We ended the night back at the bar, and once again the bar staff saved the experience. Darinel provided great service and truly turned the night around for us. While the bar staff was outstanding, the overall service and food quality at the hotel were very disappointing.

We stayed in a Melia Suite with an ocean view, and the room was excellent — spacious, clean, and with a truly beautiful sea view. Overall, we liked the hotel: the territory is well maintained, the pool area is great, and the drinks were good (except for the beer). However, there were several disappointing moments. We noticed that some staff members provided noticeably worse service if tips were not given every time, which negatively affected the overall experience. The restaurant “The Grill” was very disappointing. The meat was undercooked, and we had to wait around 40 minutes for our order, which is unacceptable. Another issue was at the front desk. We were promised an earlier check-in than 3:00 pm, but in reality we only got access to our room at 3:05 pm. I am not upset about the timing itself, but I did not appreciate being given false expectations. If we had been told from the beginning that early check-in was not possible, we would have planned our time differently. Overall, the hotel has strong potential, but better consistency in service and more honest communication would greatly improve the guest experience.

Room was good. Nice and spacious. Food is VERY limited. Not much variety and very limited treats/sweets. Never have been to a resort where is no ice cream offered. Checkin was stressful because of a mistake that Expedia made while booking. It got resolved but it wasted half the day because of that. Overall nice small resort. Not sure if I would return.

Estuve de vacaciones con mi Hija adolescente y fueron unos días mágico, el personal es maravilloso, todos nos cuidaban y nos daban lo mejor de si... Tuvimos con Concierge (Victor) quien hizo nuestra estadía muy especial...pero en cada servicio y en cada espacio fue increíble.... por favor mantengan este servicio porque en verdad es muy importante cuando salimos a otro país como es nuestro caso y tuvimos justo lo que necesitábamos ... llenaron todas nuestras expectativas.... GRACIAS A TODOS .... Nos sentimos EN CASA...
