This is our second time staying at Grand Park Royal. We love, love, love this place. Amazing staff, excellent food and beautiful facilities. It is walkable to downtown Cancun and right on the beach. We will continue going here every time we visit Cancun.

Resort was really nice, super clean and the grounds were beautiful. Staff was very friendly, would be better if I spoke Spanish though. Housekeeping was great with the exception that they do not restock coffee K cups or sugars, and they do not provide coffee creamer in the room. I had to call down to room service every day to get coffee pods, sugar and creamers for the next morning. Food was very good, for dinner you have to make a reservation for all restaurants except for the buffet. We could never get a reservation, even with trying days ahead and having VIP wrist bands. The man ahead of us made a reservation with no problem, we were always told there were non available, obviously had something to do with our wristbands, I think his was yellow. We would see the restaurants having many open tables when we walked around since they all have glass walls. The buffet was very good thankfully because that was our only option for dinners. Make sure that your guys have at least 1 pair of long pants and enclosed shoes because they are required if you are lucky enough to get a dinner reservation. Not required for the buffet though. Public transportation bus stop is right in front of the resort so that was very convenient. They do try and talk you into their Breakfast Presentation which you will receive extra resort perks, maybe getting dinner reservations was one of their perks. Overall it was a very nice place to stay.

Checkin was easy and fast we were upgraded to a villa with a butler Roica and she was great , Raymon at the Mexican restaurant was fabulous, Jesus at the bar by the main pool was nice and made good drinks he knew what we wanted as soon as he saw us, the Italian restaurant was very good have to get tiramisu is made right in front of you, there are so many more really good staff not sure names

First off, the staff is really great! Everyone was very willing to help in anyway they could, and all were very friendly. The property itself is very spacious and kept very clean. The housekeepers did a great job cleaning our room. Some of the furniture is a bit old however, that’s not a big deal. There are a few things that could be improved upon, however. The main issue we had was lack of available chairs. There are only 11 Palapas on the beach… Not nearly enough for the number of guests. Lack of Pool chairs is also a problem and one has to get up between 630 and 7 AM to reserve chairs. This is definitely not ideal while on vacation. The other issue is the advertised Jacuzzi. Actually, It is non-functional and people use it as a kiddie pool. Lastly, this is a “timeshare“ property, so be prepared for the sales pitch…the giveaways are not worth the time spent in the presentation. All in all it was a very enjoyable vacation… The property just needs to invest in more beach chairs/umbrellas

Grand Park Royal is a fabulous facility! Our room was spacious and we had a great view of the turquoise waters of the gulf! The shower in our room was especially nice with dual shower heads and a bench that made shaving my legs so easy! But the best thing about the resort were it’s employees! We had amazing service from Marco, Pedro, Ivan, Alicia, and Hector! Fermin made my omelet every morning with speed, precision, and love! I love this resort and will return again!
