I've visited this area over 20 times, staying at different resorts, and unfortunately, this was one of my most disappointing trips. The resort itself was great for the price, and the food and drinks were about what I expected at this price point. However, aside from three or four staff members, the service was surprisingly poor. Many of the staff were extremely rude, despite the fact that I always tip.
Housekeeping never showed up one day, even after I requested service twice. When I called down to at least get fresh towels, no one ever came.
One of the main reasons I vacation in Quintana Roo is the exceptional hospitality, but this time, the experience fell far short of the 10/10 service I’ve come to expect.
While I appreciate the resort’s value, the service issues on this trip were disappointing enough that I’d think twice before return. If you visit this resort the girl at the front desk was great along with a few servers, the bellhop, and the bartender by the upstairs pool!
