Wow what an amazing and beautiful place! The staff were all so happy, friendly and helpful. The room was pure luxury! The room had marble floors, wrist bands for room access and a pool the adjoined one 6 or so other rooms. None of the Resterant were available when we got there, but after wait list we were accepted and the dining was by far the best we have ever had in a resort. It was so service focused. My teens loved it also and it felt very safe. Their excursion to the cenote was top notch! We will definitely be back!

Very disappointed, we picked the Grand for upgrade and the service was terrible. Also could not eat anywhere except buffet. Why even stay at Grand when you can not eat at any restaurant. The wait on everything was terrible. I will never stay here again.

We stayed at the Grand and the facilities were so clean! You never saw room service trays or random drink cups sitting around. Staff were all beyond friendly and accommodating. Property is very big so they have golf cart service to give rides to wherever you want to go, and we never waited more than a few minutes, if that! Restaurants were easy to get into and make reservations, buffett was also good! Only negative to the trip was the salespeople trying to book you into the vacation club. We tried a dozen ways to say we would not be making a decision today and I get they have to keep trying but it got annoying at a certain point. If the club would let people think on it and come back you may get people to purchase more.

Everything exceeded expectations, especially the food. We did not eat at the buffet, but all other restaurants were very impressive. (Note - JC Steakhouse was rated the lowest by our group, and it was still very good.) It is a very large resort - which we love - but this can be intimidating. You get used the golf carts and can enjoy a different setting each day. The upgraded suite was so large that we rarely used the dining or living room areas. The only downside of the entire experience is the very aggressive initial push to participate in the presentations. However, you can negotiate with them (max 30 minutes for $1,500 in resort credits, etc.) to make it worthwhile. We will definitely be back.
