We were going to the rugby at Suncorp stadium so very convenient. The property was spacious but very tired and in need of an upgrade. It didn’t smell fresh but stale. The windows are single glazed and faced onto Roma St station. This has major building works which go on loudly until all hours. Curtains are thin and don’t keep out the light. Reception staff pleasant and helpful.

Extremely noisey! At the moment...

I would not recommend staying at this hotel until the work at the train station is completed. They do not have any type of glazed windows and the works sounded like they went all night, especially at 4am!!! Maybe request a room that doesn't face the station for a good nights sleep or stay away until.

Getting in was a problem. had to ring for assistance. Amenities in the room very basic. Could not get on to the balcony. As we booked in late at 8pm and left early at 6am we did not encounter any staff. As we were told there was noise but not over the top.The only good thing is the convenience to the train!

It's old and very tired. The bed head is just floating, the bathroom is very dated and there was a heavy layer of dust on the rails of the kitchen table. It's cheap, but that's about it

The property was very clean, although somewhat dated and in need of refurbishment. It is situated in a very convenient location, close to everything including the Mall, transportation and Southbank. I have no hesitation to recommend this accommodation if you are in Brisbane looking to do some sightseeing.

Do you love puzzles, riddles, and escape rooms? Then this hotel is for you! Forget the ordinary hotel experience of following provided instructions to have the simple (perhaps expected?) luxuries of things like air con and lights! Now for added fun, there are no staff available from 4pm to 8am - great for those of us who are working and like to play on “hard” mode! I arrived at 5:30 after work and followed the instructions sent via email to gain access to the apartment (this was the easy bit…) Now I got a room that faced the western sun and was directly opposite the loud noise of peak hour traffic and construction noise from Roma St. So my room was hot and opening the doors and windows was not an option. I looked at my provided instructions “to activate electricity in apartment put key in slot beside door”. But - no slot! Ok, let’s look around. There’s a switch that says “air conditioner” with an on off switch and speed. No, this does nothing. There’s a temperature control on a different wall, this does nothing either. I manage to get some of the lights on but think the air con must be broken. Haha. How foolish I was! I also couldn’t find the overhead light switch in the bedroom - I used the bedside lamp. Turns out (the next morning after a warm and fitful night of sleep) that the air con switch is a random unsigned light switch on yet another wall. Next to another unsigned switch that controlled lights! Also the bedroom light was in the back corner 30cm from the floor. Fun!
