The beds could be upgraded to king size beds rather than standard double beds. The front of house staff were very attentive, helpful & friendly. The breakfast was underwhelming, poor sausages, cheap beans, no fried eggs, no mushrooms. The soundproofing of the bedrooms was very poor.

The room was very clean. Wooden hard floors are a big plus. Mattress wasn’t the most comfortable as it was a spring mattress, and pillows were hard, but they were comfortable enough for a short stay. You can hear clearly the hallway and nearby rooms, so recommended to have ear plugs if you’re sensitive.

Cet hôtel est parfaitement situé en plein centre et les nuits y sont calmes et confortables. Points forts : le petit déjeuner compris, même s'il n'est pas suffisamment végan, le plateau de courtoisie dans la chambre ainsi que que petit réfrigérateur. Accueil sympathique.

The reception, cafe and domestic staff were lovely and helpful, the room was pleasant, the shower was perfect. The room was clean, the cafe area where we ate breakfast was clean. The hotel was well situated for what we wanted to do, all in all a lovely stay. We would stay again when we visit in the future.

Avoid room 120 as next to breakfast room and fire door, so noisy from an early hour. Stayed many times on over ight jaunts but wouldn't stay longer. Room and bed comfortable.

The site and people were wonderful. I do think in the general area a few tables to hang out at and maybe some more air circulation in the hallways to deal with smells would be helpful.
