Okay but in need of an upgrade

I clearly stayed when Crufts was on, I think I should have been told this when I booked, the hotel is dog friendly which is great but there were a lot of dogs at the hotel and they were barking both outside and in the rooms which disturbed my sleep before a long early morning flight. Rooms were clean but starting to look dated and in need of an upgrade.

Hotel was comfortable for a nights stay. Rooms are dated and in neednof modernisation but does the job for a night stay. Bathroom very small sink right in front of face when on the toilet! Bath panel broken, hairs on the floor, bath panel full of dust and glass on shower panel needed a good clean!

Location great!

Hotel is dated but for the price we paid it was very good value for money. Rooms very clean so can’t fault that! The spa needs an upgrade (nowhere to get changed apart from in public or in the toilet) and the jacuzzi was old but functional. Restaurant portions were huge and good food, staff really nice. Location perfect for BP pulse, it’s a ten minute walk.

Concert stay

Second stay here, good location for nec and no pulse music venue, both an easy 10 minute walk away. Rooms are basic but functional. Good breakfast but a little bit pricey at £14 per head.

Generally clean tidy and comfortable, however the room was tierd looking and a few niggly things. The kettle had to be put under the tv to get to a plug socket, there was no bedside table to put phones, watches etc. Also in the shower no where to put shower gel, shampoo etc.
