Main areas of the hotel are nice. Bed was comfortable. Rooms need updating. The office chair in my room was filthy and covered in stains. Breakfast is very basic. I am intolerant to both Gluten and Dairy and there was next to nothing for me to eat. Ate in the hotel one evening. Food OK but service very poor. Meal brought to the table without any cutlery. Staff then all disappeared and we spent 10 minutes wandering around looking for something to eat the meal with!

Lovely hotel

A lovely hotel, very clean, lovely breakfast, no continental,but cerals, toast,and lovely cooked scrambled eggs,hash brown,sausages,b.beans,bacon and muffins. You cannot starve. Fresh juices and a coffee machine. The grounds are quiet and well maintained, next door to a vintage pub. Beds comfy, nice dove products in bathroim, plenty of towels etc. Housekeeping are very friendly, and do a good job as do all staff we met. You cannot walk to the NEC roads are too dangerous.no real path.

Hotel a great distance from NEC and few electri. C

No usb sockets near bed to charge phone, in fact the only socket i could make work was the socket the electric kettle was plugged into. Very poor. Very limited choice of tv channels very few of the free ones available in fact there seem to be mor children's channels than other channels. Only one side of the bed can turn off the room lights Unless you arrive by car its about a 40 minute walk from the station or the nec
