The on site parking access codes did not work, had to call direct to hotel to gain access. Parking entrance and exit is very very tight and almost impossible for large vehicles.

The room was ok but a comfortable chair would have been nice and a coffee machine possibly . I was not able to eat in the resturant as it was fully booked , make sure you pre book before you arrive . The room service offer was mediocre and seemed expensive for what it was . Saying that everywhere was clean and staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel has been refurbished and look fresh and up-to-date. Unfortunately directly above my room in the hallway the contractors did not put the ceiling tiles back in to place which looked unsightly it would have taken them a few seconds to put them back into place. I called reception and was told that works are ongoing and as such would be left until the works were completed. Reception and restaurant staff were great, I would stay here again.

Hampton by Hilton better

The Hilton is not quite as nice as the Hampton by Hilton on broad st. The breakfast was very poor. Mainly for Americans with sliced potatoes and not a great choice. Would have thought this would have been better than its cheaper sister.

Noisy building work

My stay was marred by noisy building work in the hotel involving power tools. This disrupted my sleep on what was intended to be a rare chance to rest. I was not informed about this in advance, otherwise I would have stayed elsewhere. I feel conned. On contacting reception, they refused to halt it and simply said that it would be continuing.
