Very clean rooms, comfy beds, good wifi, good part of the city and access, very good breakfasts, but we noticed some issues that for these reasons, it is unlikely we comeback again :-(.
1) we had to wait 40 minute for our room to be ready at checkin at 3pm, which was annoying as it changed our plans a bit for later evening. Front desk staff didn’t seem to bother much or appreciate the annoyance that it may cause when arriving after a long road trip.
2) The room was very clean with good amenities but we had a terribly loud air-con system with the fan inside the room behind a box which made us shut it down at night as we couldn’t sleep.
3) The room door was not sealed properly and wind was blowing through into the room making a loud howling sound at night, turning it into even more uncomfortable evening. We stayed only one night so didn’t bother to change the room, but made a note to front desk.
4) we found the carpark charge of £21 too expensive. Nowhere it was mentioned(even at the time I asked from front desk about using the car park and access) . The car park was few steps away from the main entrance, meaning you may get wet when entering the hotel from the car park if raining. No lift from car park to hotel entrance, so if you have large luggages, drop them first at the entrance and then drive to park your car.
