We have stayed at Showboat a few times since we have a dog and there aren’t too many dog friendly hotels in AC. We never had any issue until our most recent stay. IT WAS HORRIFIC. We had a room that was next to a mechanical motor of some sort so all day and night you hear the sound of a motor turning on and off( this was not the heating system). We had drunk girls yelling and screaming outside our door at 1am, this was going on for about 30 mins when I decided to open the door and ask them to keep it down…,in which the drunk girl proceeded to call me names and TRIED TO PHYSICALLY ASSAULT ME. I called security, I guess they came but did not speak to me. 30 mins later the same drunk girl was screaming and cursing in the hall while on the phone. ALL NIGHT people were in the halls yelling until the morning when the workers started making noise. We did not sleep one minute and will not be staying there again. It is unsafe and certainly not a place for children.
