Yes. We did not get the room that we reserved. Was not available. We had no choice but to take a smoking room which stunk and throughout the night it smelled like an ashtray. We got to the hotel T 4:15pm and we were told there were no king size beds available at the time and if we want we can wait. We had a 5:00pm dinner reservation. While we were checking in people to our left were getting a king size bed in a non smoking area. This was the first time and the last time we will ever stay at the Golden Nugget.

We had the best time! Upgraded to a Marina Suite with magnificent panoramic views. Had a great dinner at Dos Caminos and live music at The Wave downstairs and then The Rush lounge! We come once a month to see bands! Love the Marina and pool in the summer.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The view from our room was spectacular. The only thing that was weird was the light fixture near the bed. The shades were too big and were in the way. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room Was clean but dark and smelled of smoke though nonsmoking (1211). Hated the sliding glass door bathroom. Didn’t afford privacy. Handle to sink broken on arrival. Spouse fixed that. Adequate for our 1 night stay. Could here banging from other floors/rooms until we hours. Pricey. Enjoyed our 2 meals there and the show we came to see. Was told about jitbey service which worked fair. Didn’t tell us to tell driver our destination. Took 2 hrs to get home from show at borgata.
